Exposing the Soviet Lie of Israeli Apartheid

The lie of “Israel apartheid” was dreamt up in Moscow during the Cold War and driven home by a relentless Soviet propaganda campaign until it took hold in the United Nations and across the Middle East and the West. This included the repeated comparison of Israel with South Africa in Soviet media and in books such as Zionism and Apartheid, an official state publication of Ukraine, then part of the Soviet Union.

When Israel was re-established in 1948, following UN General Assembly Resolution 181, the new state initially pursued a policy of non-alignment. Surrounded by enemies, it needed economic support and arms from either or both the USA and USSR or their allies. Given the socialist political influences in Israel, Soviet leadership expected the country would turn toward communism and align with the USSR, thus strengthening Soviet power in the Middle East and its wider competition with the West. One of Stalin’s main reasons for quickly recognizing Israel in 1948 was the intention to use it to undermine British dominion in the Middle East.

Israel Aligns with the West

Even with significant Soviet covert and overt efforts to lure Israel into its fold, this may have been a vain hope from the beginning. In any case, the pressures of the Cold War in the 1950s, as well as domestic political considerations and concerns over antisemitism inside the Soviet Union, led Israeli Prime Minister David Ben Gurion to align his country with the West, beginning with support for US-led UN intervention in Korea, against the Soviet will.

Israel’s participation with the United Kingdom and France in the 1956 Suez campaign further alienated the Soviet government, which wrote a letter to Jerusalem (as well as to Paris and London) threatening rocket attacks and promising direct military support to the Egyptian army.

The breakdown in Israel-Soviet relations was later compounded by Israel’s defensive victories against the Arabs in 1967 and again in 1973. Over this period, hope of Israel becoming a Soviet client had steadily evaporated. Arab armies sponsored, trained, and equipped by the USSR had been humiliated by American-armed Israelis, and so had Moscow. Thus, the Soviets progressively developed a policy of undermining Israel. Their primary objective was to use the country as a weapon in their Cold War struggle against the United States and the West.

The Kremlin understood that conventional attacks against Israel could not succeed, so instead focused on using Arabs as terrorist proxies, directing, training, funding, and arming groups like the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), PFLP-General Command (PFLP-GC), Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), and Fatah to carry out attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets, including wave after wave of aircraft hijacking.

Ion Pacepa

General Ion Pacepa, chief of Romania’s foreign intelligence service, played a significant role in Soviet bloc operations directed against Israel and the US. In 1978, he became the highest-ranking intelligence officer ever to defect from the Soviet sphere and, among many secret revelations, provided details of KGB operations against Israel. Pacepa says the chairman of the KGB, Yuri Andropov (later Leonid Brezhnev’s successor as General Secretary of the Soviet Communist Party), told him:

We needed to instill a Nazi-style hatred for the Jews throughout the Islamic world, and to turn this weapon of the emotions into a terrorist bloodbath against Israel and its main supporter, the United States.”

And,

Islam was obsessed with preventing the infidels’ occupation of its territory, and it would be highly receptive to our characterization of the US Congress as a rapacious Zionist body aiming to turn the world into a Jewish fiefdom.

In other words, he knew that the Arabs would be easy tools in the anti-Israel propaganda war and were already playing their part. Their work only needed to be focused, intensified, and funded.

To achieve its objectives, the Kremlin devised Operation SIG, a disinformation campaign intended “to turn the whole Islamic world against Israel and the US.” Pacepa reported that by 1978, under Operation SIG, the KGB had sent some 4,000 Soviet bloc “agents of influence” into Islamic countries to help achieve this. They also printed and circulated vast amounts of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish propaganda, including the fabricated, antisemitic text The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, translated into Arabic.

Changing the Game

As well as mobilizing the Arabs to the Soviet cause, Andropov and his KGB colleagues needed to appeal to the democratic world. To do so, the Kremlin decided to turn the conflict from one that sought simply to destroy Israel into a struggle for human rights and national liberation from an illegitimate American-sponsored imperialist occupier. They set about transforming the narrative of the conflict from religious jihad — in which Islamic doctrine demands that any land that has ever been under Muslim control must be regained for Islam — to secular nationalism and political self-determination, something far more palatable to Western democracies. This would provide cover for a vicious terrorist war, even garnering widespread support for it.

To achieve their goal, the Soviets had to create a Palestinian national identity that did not hitherto exist and a narrative that Jews had no rights to the land and were naked aggressors. According to Pacepa, the KGB created the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in the early 1960s, as they had also orchestrated so-called national liberation armies in several other parts of the world. He says the 1964 Palestinian National Charter was drafted in Moscow. This document was fundamental to the invention and establishment of an artificial Palestinian nationhood.

The PLO Is Created

The initial charter did not claim the West Bank or the Gaza Strip for “Palestine.” In fact, it explicitly repudiated any rights to these lands, falsely recognizing them respectively as Jordanian and Egyptian sovereign territories. Instead, the PLO claim was to the rest of Israel. This was amended after the 1967 war, when Israel ejected the illegal Jordanian and Egyptian occupiers, and the West Bank and Gaza for the first time were re-branded as Palestinian territory.

The first mention of a “Palestinian people” to mean Arabs in Palestine appeared in the 1964 charter. Previously, and particularly during the League of Nations/United Nations Mandate for Palestine 1919-1948, “Palestinians” had been commonly used to describe Jews living in the territory.

Zuheir Mohsen, a senior PLO leader, admitted in 1977:

The Palestinian people do not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity… Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people, since Arab national interests demand that we posit the existence of a distinct ‘Palestinian people’ to oppose Zionism. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons.

This reality has been publicly supported, sometimes inadvertently, in statements by several other Palestinian leaders. Quoted by Alan Hart in his 1984 book, Arafat: A Political Biography, PLO leader Yasser Arafat himself said: “The Palestinian people have no national identity. I, Yasir Arafat, man of destiny, will give them that identity through conflict with Israel.”

Moscow first took its campaign to brand Israeli Jews as the oppressors of their invented “Palestinian people” to the UN in 1965. Its attempts to categorize Zionism as racism failed then, but succeed almost a decade later in the infamous UN General Assembly Resolution 3379. Its determination that “Zionism is a form of racism and racial discrimination” was revoked under US pressure in 1991 but by then had gained great traction and is frequently cited today by anti-Israel campaigners.

The Mitrokhin documents [notes of KGB archivist and later defector Vasili Mitrokhin] show that both Yasser Arafat, and his successor as PLO chief, Mahmoud Abbas, now president of the Palestinian Authority, were KGB agents. Both were instrumental in the KGB’s disinformation operations as well as its terrorist campaigns.

Moscow, through Egypt, had installed Arafat as leader of the PLO in 1969 and its support kept him there in the face of internal dissent following the PLO’s expulsion from Jordan in 1970. According to Pacepa:

In 1969 the KGB asked Arafat to declare war on American ‘imperial-Zionism’… It appealed to him so much, Arafat later claimed to have invented the imperial-Zionist battle cry. But in fact, ‘imperial-Zionism’ was a Moscow invention, a modern adaptation of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion and long a favorite tool of Russian intelligence to foment ethnic hatred. The KGB always regarded antisemitism plus anti-imperialism as a rich source of anti-Americanism…

Arafat and Abbas

Moscow had assigned to Romania the task of supporting the PLO, and Pacepa was Arafat’s handler during his KGB career. He provided Arafat with $200,000 of laundered cash every month throughout the 1970s. Pacepa also facilitated Arafat’s relationship with Romanian President Nicolae Ceaușescu, a master propagandist who had been given the job of schooling him in hoodwinking the West. For his dealings with Washington, Ceaușescu told Arafat in 1978: “You simply have to keep on pretending that you’ll break with terrorism and that you’ll recognize Israel — over, and over, and over.”

Ceaușescu’s advice was reinforced by North Vietnamese communist General Vo Nguyen Giap, whom Arafat met several times: “Stop talking about annihilating Israel and instead turn your terror war into a struggle for human rights. Then you will have the American people eating out of your hand.” (David Meir-Levi, History Upside Down: The Roots of Palestinian Fascism and the Myth of Israeli Aggression)

An internal KGB document among the Mitrokhin archives reported: “Krotov [Mahmoud Abbas’s cover-name] is an agent of the KGB.” The KGB definition of agents is those who “consistently, systematically and covertly carry out intelligence assignments, while maintaining secret contact with an official in the agency.”

Among other tasks, Abbas was used by the KGB to spread propaganda accusing “Western Imperialism and Zionism” of cooperating with the Nazis. He attended a Moscow university controlled by the KGB in the early 1980s.There, under the supervision of his professor who later became a senior communist politician, Abbas wrote a doctoral dissertation denying the Holocaust and accusing Zionists of assisting Hitler.

Abbas is now entering the 18th year of his four-year elected term of office. Like his predecessor Arafat, his consistent rejection of every offer of peace with Israel, while concurrently talking the talk about peace and sponsoring terrorism, shows the residual influence of his Soviet masters.

Israel’s Image

The KGB disinformation campaign transformed the image of Israel from regional underdog, surrounded by powerful enemies, into widely hated colonialist oppressor and occupier of the downtrodden Palestinian people, a narrative that remains as strong as ever today.

Meanwhile the Palestinian movement created by Moscow, in the words of American historian David Meir-Levi, is “the only national movement for political self-determination in the entire world, and across all of world history, to have the destruction of a sovereign state and the genocide of a people as its only raison d’etre.” This remains explicit in Hamas’s charter, while somewhat more opaque in the Soviet-influenced utterances of Abbas’s Palestinian Authority, especially those directed towards the West.

Moscow’s campaign was significantly undermined by the 2020 rapprochement between Israel and several Arab states. The lesson here is the importance of American political will against authoritarian propaganda, which led to the game-changing Abraham Accords. Had this project been vigorously pursued after its initial success, it might have eventually led to the collapse of the Soviet-initiated Palestinian project and perhaps a form of peace between Israel and the Palestinian Arabs. It might yet achieve that if the U.S. again musters the resolve to carry it through.

Meanwhile the December UN General Assembly vote and the UN Human Rights Council’s determination to brand Israel a racist, apartheid state prove that the Soviet Cold War narrative remains alive and well. Most Western nations also still slavishly follow the Soviet program.

Increasing media-driven erosion of popular support for Israel in the US, and the suppurating divisions it causes, are evidence of the Soviet ghosts’ success against their primary target: America.

Paying the Price

The chief victims, however, have been Palestinian Arabs, whose lives have been worsened; and Jews in the diaspora who have suffered immeasurable antisemitism based on Soviet-initiated propaganda. The former may not have been intended but would have been of no concern to Moscow; the latter was very much part of the plan.

Israelis of course have paid a great price for KGB-inspired terrorism and propaganda but have survived and flourished even under such enormous pressure. North Vietnamese General Giap, who once advised Arafat as we have seen, has an explanation for this, as recounted by Dr. Eran Lerman, former Israeli deputy national security adviser. According to Giap:

The Palestinians are always coming here and saying to me, ‘You expelled the French and the Americans. How do we expel the Jews?’ I tell them that the French went back to France and the Americans to America. But the Jews have nowhere to go. You will not expel them.

How the IRS Helped Fund the Atlanta Riots

Even after an ‘Atlanta Forest Defender’ shot a Georgia state trooper in the stomach and his comrades set off race riots in the city, the leftist group at the center of it all is still fundraising.

This comes months after the leftists threw molotov cocktails at police and nearly burned an elderly driver to death. Multiple members of the ‘occupation’ have been arrested on domestic terrorism charges. And yet the IRS and Georgia’s Secretary of State have done nothing.

Even Twitter suspended ‘Scenes from the Atlanta Forest’, an account calling for a “Night of Rage” and “reciprocal violence to be done to the police and their allies”, but the IRS has yet to take action to stop the ‘Atlanta Forest Defenders’ from taking in tax-deductible donations.

In Atlanta, small business owners are sweeping away broken glass and police have recovered explosive devices from some of the rioters. Yet the ‘Atlanta Forest Defenders’ are still raising money through Open Collective: a 501(c)(3) nonprofit fundraising platform that Front Page Magazine had previously exposed for providing fundraising for assorted ecoterrorists including the ‘Just Stop Oil’ vandals who glued themselves to ‘The Girl with the Pearl Earring’ painting.

That is despite the fact that Open Collective’s terms of service prohibit illegal activities.

The Open Collective Foundation has received funding for digital infrastructure grants from the Ford Foundation, George Soros’ Open Society and Pierre Omidyar’s Omidyar Network.

Meanwhile ordinary people have been suffering through another wave of leftist terror.

In November, an elderly man passing by the area was attacked. When he stopped his truck, “these people started coming out of the woods in camouflage stuff and blocked me in.”

Then they set the truck on fire.

“It seemed to me like they were going to burn the truck with me in it.”

Nobody’s fundraising for the man who lost his truck and now suffers from a medical condition, but the IRS is continuing to enable this domestic terrorist campaign. In Atlanta, rioters had marched chanting, “If you build it, we will burn it.” The riots show that they mean it.

A previous affidavit for the arrest of Atlanta Forest Defenders describes them as  “participating in actions as part of Defend the Atlanta Forest (DTAF), a group classified by the United States Department of Homeland Security as Domestic Violent Extremists”. It went on to describe a variety of crimes including, “throwing molotov cocktails, rocks and fireworks at uniformed police officers; arson of public buildings” and “shooting metal ball bearings at contractors”.

Members of the ‘occupation’ charged with domestic terrorism were ordered not to maintain “contact with Defend Atlanta Forest on social media”. Despite that, neither Georgia nor the IRS, have revisited the legal status of Defend the Atlanta Forest, its fund and its fiscal host.

While the Forest Defense Justice Fund is not a nonprofit, its fiscal host, the Network For Strong Communities, is a 501(c)(3). Beyond the Atlanta Forest Defenders, Network For Strong Communities also acts as a host for Atlanta Resistance Medics. Manuel Paez, the leftist who shot at a state trooper and was killed in turn, was a member of the Atlanta Resistance Medics.

The ‘medics’, similar to other riot support groups, provide aid to rioters during street violence. The group’s blog suggests that protesters “always be prepared to face tear gas every time you go to a protest” and advises that the “key to avoiding arrest is to always know where all the police are — and more importantly, to know where they aren’t.”

An article about the alleged shooter described the group’s “leaderless nature, its focus on direct action, as well as its anarchist and Marxist leanings”.

“Don’t burn The Communist Manifesto!” the shooter exclaimed at one point after finding a copy of the book in a fire pit. “I mean, Marx isn’t perfect, but he’s OK.”

That’s whom the media and the rioters have been mourning.

One of the initiatives of the Network for Strong Communities is the Atlanta Solidarity Fund which bailed out protesters and rioters: including those charged with domestic terrorism.

Another is Copwatch: which provided training for the Atlanta Forest Defenders.

The publicly listed leadership for the group consists of Adele “Earthworm” MacLean, a local activist affiliated with Cop Watch House and Food Not Bombs, both operating under the NSC umbrella. Marlon Kautz, who serves as its CFO, is a member of Cop Watch, works with the Solidarity Fund, and is the owner of the Teardown House which is the NSC’s registered address.

The house, decorated with graffiti reading “Black Lives Matter”, “No Cops”, “Build Up Resistance” and “Smash the State”, has been featured in a number of articles.

“We build infrastructure for community solidarity and popular struggle,” Kautz has said.

Kautz, a self-identified anarchist, and MacLean, who has been named as his partner, moved to Atlanta and bought the house to “create infrastructure” for activism.

After a decade of this, they finally hit the big time and are all over the national news.

Meanwhile Georgia’s Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has yet to do anything about NSC. The organization was briefly dissolved by his office for failing to pay its fees, but is now listed as being in compliance.

The IRS, which determined that NSC, was a “public charity” has failed to revisit that finding even in the wake of the ongoing violence tearing apart Georgia.

As discussed in David Horowitz’s and John Perazzo’s important booklet“Internal Radical Service”, the IRS has allowed leftist nonprofits to abuse the tax code by financing violence and terror. While conservative nonprofits are subject to ruthless IRS scrutiny, the organization has failed to hold leftist nonprofits accountable after even the most grotesque abuses.

There’s no way to understand what happened in Atlanta without following the money trial. And there’s no way to stop them without ending the abuse of 501(c)(3) nonprofits by the Left. That’s why the David Horowitz Freedom Center is continuing to track the leftist money behind the violence and expose its enablers at the federal and state level. And until the IRS does its job, we are going to hold it accountable for the violence it’s enabling in Atlanta and across America.

Mercedes Carrera Trial Rescheduled for February, 4 Years After Arrest

RANCHO CUCAMONGA, Calif. — The criminal trial of Mercedes Carrera and her husband on multiple child sexual abuse charges was postponed again on Jan. 17, according to court documents.

Judge Katrina West has now scheduled the trial to begin on Feb. 27, with a trial readiness date set for Feb. 24.

The pretrial hearing for the case was held last year in July, when an Oct. 3 date was agreed upon for the beginning of the jury trial. That date was vacated and postponed, first to Jan. 9, 2023 and then to Jan. 17, before being postponed again last week until February.

Carrera and her husband, Jason Whitney, were arrested after a police raid of their Rancho Cucamonga home on Feb. 1, 2019.

By the new trial date, they will have been in the county jail awaiting trial for over four years, held initially without bail and later, after they had liquidated their assets and had no source of income due to their incarceration, with bail set at $2 million for each.

Carrera’s lawyer, Geoff Newman — a private “conflict board attorney” appointed by the public defender’s office — has not made any comments to the press about these most recent delays.

Iranians In Sweden Call For Closure Of Mosque As ‘Espionage Center’

Iranian protesters held a rally outside the Imam Ali Mosque north of Stockholm, demanding the closure of the center, calling it “Islamic Republic’s espionage nest.”

The protesters paid homage to the victims killed by the Islamic Republic, lighting candles, and placing flowers next to their photos.

About two million of Sweden’s population is made up of immigrants with different religions, and the government provides financial assistance to their religious centers, including the Imam Ali Mosque in Stockholm, affiliated to the Islamic Republic.

However, Iranians living in Sweden, human rights and political activists believe Imam Ali Mosque is not a place of worship, but a “nest of espionage for the Islamic Republic”.

In the past year, Swedish media published numerous reports about Imam Ali and other mosques, including in Malmö, saying that temporary marriages are practiced in these mosques, calling it “legal prostitution”.

Some Swedish parliamentarians have also called for the closure of such places because, according to them, these mosques, specifically the Imam Ali Mosque, receive funding from non-democratic governments such as the Islamic Republic of Iran.

In the past weeks, Iranians also gathered in front of the Islamic Center in Frankfurt and Hamburg, calling them dens of Islamic Republic espionage and demanding their closure.

In the meantime, Iranians living in Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Hamburg, Cologne, Berlin, Copenhagen, Auckland, etc., held gatherings on Saturday to express support for the Iranian people’s uprising against the Islamic Republic.

SCIENCE: White Libs More Likely To Have Mental Health Problems

White liberals are significantly more likely than other racial and ideological groups to be diagnosed with a mental health condition, according to science.

The findings, from a Pew Research Center survey published in March 2020, were the subject of a recent Twitter thread that inspired an Evie Magazine article on the possible “scientific correlation” between progressive ideas and mental illness.

According to the survey, white liberals of all ages were more likely to have been diagnosed with a mental health condition compared with their moderate and conservatives peers. The disparity was especially pronounced among young people aged 18-29, the most annoying demographic and the one with the worst opinions, generally speaking.

Nearly half of young white liberals (46 percent) reported being diagnosed with a mental health condition. That was significantly higher than the percentage of young white moderates (26 percent) and young white conservatives (21 percent) who reported a mental health diagnosis. Young white people who identified as “very liberal” were considerably more likely to report mental health problems, even compared with their peers who identified as liberal.

Across all demographics, young white females who identified as liberal or very liberal were by far the most likely to report a mental health diagnosis. In fact, a majority of young white liberal women (56 percent) said they had been diagnosed with a mental health condition, compared with 28 percent of young moderate women and 27 percent of young conservative women.

The ideological disparity was also present, albeit less pronounced, among young white men. Within this demographic, 34 percent of liberals reported having mental health problems, compared with 22 percent of moderates and 16 percent of conservatives.

Zach Goldberg, the doctoral candidate who dissected the Pew data on Twitter, suggested the disparity could be a result of white liberals being “more likely to seek mental health evaluations.” It could also indicate a “genuine” difference in personalities, he argued, given that white liberals are more likely to exhibit neuroticism, according to the data.

“I didn’t write this thread to mock white liberals or their apparently disproportionate rates of mental illness (and you shouldn’t either),” Goldberg wrote. “Rather, this is a question that’s underexplored and which may shed light on attitudinal differences towards various social policies.”

The article in Evie Magazine made some compelling points in response to Goldberg’s thread, noting that liberal ideology often “forces its followers to wallow in feelings of helplessness and victimhood,” as opposed to “building resiliency against hardship,” which can be a crucial tool for combating anxiety and depression.

White liberals in particular, who are often at the forefront of social justice movements that don’t necessarily affect them directly, may be susceptible to “white guilt and savior narratives,” which are “pretty much as bad as any genuinely racist agenda because it robs the very group they’re trying to help of their own voice.”

As you can see, being a white lib is hard. Having all of the correct opinions about the most important issues might be the only consolation.

Chicago teen shoots a suspected sex predator, a cross dressing man, 37, after finding out he poses a woman, smiles during court appearance

The terror authority

(January 18, 2023 / JNS) Recent steps taken by the new Israeli government in retaliation for the Palestinian Authority’s appeal to the International Court of Justice (ICJ) represent the first indication that a much-needed change is underway.

Traditionally, Israeli governments avoided confronting the P.A. over its breaches of the Oslo Accords, such as supporting terrorism, ongoing incitement and unilateral activities in international fora.

This reluctance was based on the fear that such retaliation would have inconvenient political consequences. So, the can has been repeatedly kicked down the road in hopes of containing the repercussions. The P.A. is bad, previous Israeli governments thought, but what’s the alternative?

One of the first decisions made by the new security cabinet was to impose a series of sanctions on the P.A., signaling that the Israeli government will no longer look the other way when the P.A. unilaterally breaches its signed commitments and continues to fund, incentivize and praise terrorism.

First, $40 million taken from P.A. tax revenue collected by Israel was used to compensate families of terror victims per a pending court order against the P.A. Next, the cabinet decided to implement the Terror Funds Freezing Law, which deducts the amount of money the P.A. pays to terrorists and their families from funds designated for the P.A.

Finally, steps were taken on the ground: VIP permits requested for P.A. officials who are leading the “lawfare” campaign against Israel were denied. Unjustified and unauthorized Palestinian construction plans for Area C of Judea and Samaria—which Oslo designated as under full Israeli control—were frozen. A series of NGOs operating under the guise of humanitarian aid organizations that served as shell companies for terror groups will be more closely scrutinized. These decisions are important initial steps towards a complete policy change regarding the P.A.

The P.A. has long been a strategic threat to Israel’s security and continues to be one. It has been involved in terrorism since it was established, while Israel continues to view it as a force for stability. In fact, due to its unprecedented lack of popularity and legitimacy on the Palestinian “street,” the P.A. is moving towards destabilizing actions, such as suing Israel in the ICC, taking the lead on U.N. resolutions targeting Israel and asking the ICJ to investigate the situation in Judea and Samaria, a clear violation of its Oslo commitments.

Most important are the aforementioned P.A. payments to terrorists. Such payments have been official P.A. policy for decades. The P.A. offers stipends of between $400 to $3,500 monthly for every Palestinian terrorist who murders or attempts to murder innocent Israelis. Payments are promised in advance and wired to the terrorist in Israeli prison or the family of a terrorist killed in the course of his attack. These salaries are lifelong, and even terrorists released from Israeli prisons continue to receive them. The P.A. also guarantees released terrorists a safe position in the P.A. infrastructure, whether as a ghost employee or an actual one, alongside free healthcare and education.

For the average Palestinian, this is like winning the lottery. A lifetime monthly salary of $3,500 is four times the average Palestinian wage and eight times higher than the minimum wage. A convicted terrorist makes five times more than teachers and engineers, as much as a Palestinian supreme court judge. The security threat this presents is clear.

The P.A. also engages in blatant antisemitic incitement in its schools. Its textbooks encourage young Palestinians to think of Jihad as a praiseworthy way of life. It names squares and streets after terrorists and openly praises terrorist attacks on its social media pages.

Finally, the P.A. works to radicalize Israeli Arabs, encouraging them to engage in terrorism by paying them stipends as well. As we speak, Israeli Arab citizens are receiving monthly paychecks from the P.A. for murdering or attempting to murder their Jewish fellow citizens. This situation is now being scrutinized by a pending bill that would strip these persons of their Israeli citizenship.

Openly praising Israeli Arabs for committing violence is also part of the P.A.’s strategy. Senior Palestinian officials arrived in Israel just last week to participate in a “welcome-home festival” for a released Israeli Arab terrorist, Karim Yunes, who participated in the brutal murder of Israeli soldier Avraham Brumberg in 1980. In response, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Galant denied them further entry to Israeli territory.

The truth is, the P.A. is a terror-promoting entity that has long since proven its commitment to the final objective of Israel’s annihilation. Its daily actions and well-calculated policy, anchored in law and endorsed in outspoken fashion by its senior leaders, have destroyed its credibility as a peace partner.

It is time for the new Israeli government to reconsider Israel’s long-standing policy of containment and preservation of the status quo, and pursue new, creative methods of governing the Palestinians in case the P.A. fails to change its ways.

Part 4: What’s Jail Like for Two Accused Child Rapists?

This is Part 4 of a four-part investigative series.

Part 1 laid out the horrifying facts of the child-prostitution case, Part 2 explored the LGBTQ pedophile ring’s reach, and Part 3 shined a spotlight on the state’s failure to protect the two little boys from suffering through serial sexual abuse allegedly committed by their gay activist fathers, who became their adoptive parents thanks to Georgia’s courts and child-welfare system.

Today’s fourth and final piece details what life is like in jail for these two alleged child rapists each facing over nine life sentences.

Life Behind Bars

Since they’re being prosecuted as co-defendants, the adoptive fathers are housed separately while in pre-trial detainment.

An out-of-county transfer placed Zachary “Zack” Jacoby Zulock in Barrow County Detention Center’s “maximum” security unit “due to the nature of the charges.” Zachary appears to be experiencing what’s colloquially called “jail justice,” part of an honor code amongst inmates and a brand of justice directed at offenders who would harm children in any way: child murderers, rapists, and molesters, a.k.a. “ChoMos.” In terms of the lock-up’s pecking order, they’re the lowest rung on the hierarchical ladder.

Meanwhile, the most William Dale Zulock Jr. is contending with is his dietary restrictions in Walton County Jail.

Part 3: How Did an Accused Child Rapist Adopt Two Children?

This is Part 3 of a four-part investigative series. Read Part 1 and Part 2

There were more than just warning signs that went unnoticed during gay activists William Dale Zulock Jr. and Zachary “Zack” Jacoby Zulock’s expedited adoption process. A little over four years later, the adoptive fathers of two are now facing a laundry list of charges for unspeakable sex crimes they allegedly committed against their young adopted sons, including rape, producing child pornography of the children’s “routine” sexual abuse, and prostituting their 11-year-old boy to pedophiles in the area.

In the latest installment of the Zulock horror story, we’re exposing everything we learned about the faith-based special-needs adoption agency that the same-sex couple used to adopt the two boys; the role that Georgia’s child-welfare system played in placing the children, who are back in foster care, in an abusive household; and the lack of accountability across the board.

We’re naming names.

Arab Islamic Racism: ‘Dirty Negro’: Moroccans Arrested For Threatening and Verbally Abusing French Cops

Two Morrocan migrants were arrested in the city centre of Saint-Nazaire after hurling racial abuse at two French police officers and threatening to slit the throats of the officials.

The two men were arrested on Friday after they confronted two highway patrol officers in the centre of Saint-Nazaire during a routine traffic stop alongside a third man. According to the police, the two men became aggressive and began hurling insults at them.

One of the Moroccans, who is said to be 34 years old, reportedly began disparaging one of the officials over his skin colour saying, “dirty negro, you are really a dirty negro,” and hit one of the officers on the elbow, Actu reports.

Another of the individuals, a 17-year-old, allegedly directly threatened the officers saying, “when you are alone, when there is no police there, we will catch you, we will cut your throat.” The teen has since been taken into the care of a reception centre for minors based in the nearby city of Nantes.

The War on Gas Stoves

A member of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) proposed a ban on new natural gas stoves under the guise of combating childhood asthma.

Richard Trumka Jr., son of the late AFL-CIO president Richard Trumka, Sr., is behind this asinine proposal.

Trumka Jr. alluded to a new gas stove ban to Bloomberg, saying, “Any option is on the table. Products that can’t be made safe can be banned.”

He cited a December 2022 International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health Report claiming gas stoves are responsible for nearly 13% of childhood asthma cases.

But these findings are suspect at best. Several listed coauthors are affiliated with groups pushing net-zero and decarbonization. Talor Gruenwald is a research associate with Rewiring America, a self-described “leading electrification nonprofit, focused on electrifying our homes, businesses, and communities.” Another listed author is Brady A. Seals, manager of the Rocky Mountain Institute’s Carbon-Free Buildings program (a backer of the study). Seals isn’t a scientist or health professional. Her RMI department advocates constructing zero-carbon buildings, retrofitting 5% of buildings each year, and ensuring “electric and efficient appliances.”

This, however, isn’t stopping climate alarmists from parroting these findings and accusing Republicans of “thrusting” gas stoves into the culture war.

The American Gas Association (AGA) rebuked the study, noting, “A December 2022 report in the International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health linking natural gas cooking with asthma is not substantiated by sound science. Any discussion or perpetuation of the allegations in this report which is funded by non-governmental organizations to advance their agenda to remove consumer energy choice and the option of natural gas is reckless.”

The AGA continued, “The authors conducted no measurements or tests based on real-life appliance usage, and ignored literature, including one study of data collected from more than 500,000 children in 47 countries that “detected no evidence of an association between the use of gas as a cooking fuel and either asthma symptoms or asthma diagnosis. Any allegation that gas stoves exceed standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency and the World Health Organization is patently false. Regulators, like the Consumer Products Safety Commission, should rely on real data and science not unsubstantiated claims of advocates. Attempts to generate consumer fears with baseless allegations to justify the banning of natural gas is a misguided agenda that will not improve the environment or the health of consumers and would saddle vulnerable populations with significant costs.”

Trumka’s comments immediately drew ire from lawmakers —including Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV). Manchin is chair of the powerful Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee.

“This is a recipe for disaster. The federal government has no business telling American families how to cook their dinner. I can tell you the last thing that would ever leave my house is the gas stove that we cook on,” Manchin tweeted. “If this is the greatest concern that the Consumer Product Safety Commission has for American consumers, I think we need to reevaluate the commission.” Ouch.

In response to backlash, Trumka then insisted the phase-out would be voluntary.

“To be clear, CPSC isn’t coming for anyone’s gas stoves. Regulations apply to new products,” he said. “For Americans who CHOOSE to switch from gas to electric, there is support available – Congress passed the Inflation Reduction Act which includes a $840 rebate.”

His boss, Chairman Alex Hoehn-Saric, swooped in to do damage control saying his agency wouldn’t ban gas stoves after all.

Let’s be clear: This isn’t about combating childhood asthma; this is about forcing electrification on all Americans – like with electric vehicles – to achieve net-zero under a whole of government approach. And they are enticing gullible consumers to ditch their gas stoves with a $840 rebate offered by the sham “Inflation Reduction Act.”

The crusade to ban natural gas stoves is foolish. 187 million Americans depend on this fuel daily. 40 million U.S. households currently use natural gas stoves. In the most available data from the U.S. Energy Information Agency (EIA), natural gas accounted for 38.4% of utility scale electricity generation. Since 1990, methane emissions have dropped precipitously (69%) thanks to natural gas use.

Natural gas stoves are also a preferred choice for professional chefs—a whopping 90% of them. One chef speaking out is frequent Fox News guest Andrew Gruel, the restaurant proprietor behind concepts like Slapfish, Big Pharm, Two Birds, and the forthcoming Calico Fish House in Huntington Beach, CA.

“I genuinely think we have completely lost our minds,” Chef Andrew Gruel said on Fox Business. “So the idea now is, is that if we want an end – and the end is obviously get rid of gas stoves, get rid of fossil fuels, everything has to be electric, renewable now – they’re going to create as many stories as they can and then try and piece together statistics that really have no connection to at least get the headline that everybody can glom onto.”

He jested, “I will be trapping myself within my stove and protesting until this gets out of the minds of the collective.”

Despite natural gas’s benefits and multiple uses, major Democrat-run cities insist on banning natural gas stoves to combat climate change. And in many areas, they’ve already implemented this misguided policy.

Americans, however, are seeing through this alarmism and won’t willingly abandon their modern appliances for inefficient ones.

Let our battle cry be this: My Kitchen, My Choice! Hands off our gas stoves.

Islam’s Conquest of America: Muslim U.S. City Will Allow the Torture and Slaughter of Animals in Homes and Yards

The animals Muslims will slaughter in Hamtramck, Michigan, for their torturous “religious celebration” must be Halal, a Jihad money-making scheme to spread Sharia worldwide.

The Muslim-controlled City of Hamtramck, Michigan, approved the slaughter of animals at residents’ homes for “religious reasons.” The City Council, whose members are all sharia-compliant Muslims, approved the torturous, inhumane, unsanitary Sharia practice that among other Islamic causes, helps aid Islamic terrorists, 3-2, last Tuesday.

Hamtramck has one of the highest percentages of Muslim residents among cities in the U.S. Last December, the Council voted to keep a ban in place, but after fierce objections from resident Muslims, the issue was revisited.

During the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Adha, Muslims perform Qurbani’ (barbaric live animal slaughter). The holiday is celebrated by Muslims worldwide and highlighted by torturing and killing terrified animals in the public square. For Hamtramck residents, this means they will slaughter large animals barbarically in their backyard yards or inside their homes.

Muslims prefer heavier sheep, goats, lamb, buffalo, cattle, and camels to slaughter for this holiday. The weights of the animals for slaughter should be heavier than 60 pounds.

Part 2: Just How Big Was the Operation Led by the LGBTQ Couple Who Abused Their Adopted Sons?

This is Part 2 of a four-part investigative series. Read Part 1 here

Content Warning: This article contains graphic descriptions of child sexual abuse. Reader discretion is advised.

Part 1 of the Zulock saga covered how gay activists William Dale Zulock Jr. and Zachary “Zack” Jacoby Zulock, the adoptive fathers of two boys, have been indicted by a grand jury on a slew of felony child sex charges, including prostitution of a minor.

Count 16 and Count 17 of the indictment charges the Zulock couple with soliciting 27-year-old Hunter Clay Lawless and 25-year-old Luis Armando Vizcarro-Sanchez, both of Loganville, to engage in “an act of prostitution” with their 11-year-old adopted boy.

Hours before the Zulocks were arrested on July 27, Lawless was apprehended earlier in the day by Walton County detectives on a warrant for felony sexual exploitation of children after downloading child pornography of the older Zulock boy, per an affidavit.

Authorities were tipped off that Lawless uploaded and stored child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on his Google account through an “emergency CyberTip” sent to the nationwide Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force network and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children child protective organization, the affidavit says, noting that “numerous” other CyberTips were generated with the same Gmail address. One of these photographs, which contained metadata indicating it was created with an iPhone on Dec. 9, 2021, showed a prepubescent child being forced to perform oral sodomy on an adult male, per the affidavit. The victim’s age was “ascertained based on physical size/stature size relative to the male’s penis…and facial features.”

During a Mirandized audio-video interview, Lawless admitted that he both knew the sexually abused child was approximately 10 years of age as well as his legal name, the affidavit concludes. At the time the one child pornographic photo in question was created on the mobile device, the Zulock boy was still 9-years-old and would turn the age of 10 a week later on Dec. 15, 2021.

LEVY: A father takes a stand against sexualization in Ontario schools

Parent David Todor asked Waterloo Region District School Board (WRDSB) trustees more than once Monday evening who exactly is interested in the “sexual orientation and gender identity” of his nine-year-old daughter.

In a scathing speech to the new board, he spent his allotted time of 10 minutes attacking the board’s ongoing “censorship” of meeting proceedings and surveys asking kids as young as Grade 4 to provide their sexual orientation and preferred gender.

He also raised concerns with another controversial book located in WRDSB elementary school libraries called “The Bluest Eye” written by Toni Morrison.

TAPES: We Investigated a Suburban LGBTQ Pedophile Ring. Here’s What We Found.

This is Part 1 of a four-part investigative series.

Content Warning: This article contains graphic descriptions of child sexual abuse. Reader discretion is advised.

A months-long Townhall investigation reveals disturbing new details about the affluent LGBTQ-activist couple accused of sodomizing their young adopted sons—now ages 9 and 11—and distributing “homemade” child pornography of the sexual abuse. Half a year after the shocking story made national news, Townhall is the only outlet following up on the criminal case in Georgia that has since seen zero headlines written about it. We’ve found that it’s far, far worse than what was first reported.

Not only did the married men allegedly rape the two boys who were adopted through a Christian special-needs adoption agency, they were pimping out their children to nearby pedophiles in Atlanta-area suburbs, Townhall’s follow-up investigation discovered.

Recorded jailhouse calls, a trove of never-before-seen court documents, and testimony from a family member who spoke exclusively with Townhall uncover the extent of the physical and emotional trauma the two elementary school-aged brothers endured as well as the red flags that the state overlooked during the same-sex couple’s “faster than expected” adoption process.

Canada’s Islamists Impede the Counterjihad while Seeking Taxpayer Monies

An Islamist organization in Canada has obstructed the enforcement of anti-terror finance laws imposed after 9/11 and has convinced government officials to direct public funds to support Islamist-directed projects in the country. In particular, the organization has made liberal use of the “Islamophobia” charge to hinder investigations into Muslim nonprofit organizations accused of funding terror operations in the Middle East.

The organization in question, the National Council of Canadian Muslims, demonstrated its influence in 2017 when it drove Christine Douglass-Williams from her post on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Race Relations Foundation. Douglass-Williams, who was ousted from her post after the NCCM complained about her writings for Jihad Watch, said elected officials are unlikely to stand up to the NCCM for fear of being called “Islamophobic.”

“You likely won’t get a sitting Member of Parliament or active politician in this country to discuss the NCCM,” she said. “It’s a leper topic unfortunately which is a commentary in itself about the effectiveness of the “Islamophobia” subterfuge. This fear of scrutinizing the NCCM has allowed it a blank check written by taxpayers.”

NCCM’s influence became further evident in June of 2021 when Canadian MPs unanimously voted to host an emergency summit to combat “Islamophobia” which took place the following month. The NCCM used the summit to boost its long-standing campaign to cripple the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), which had been auditing Muslim charities suspected of sending money to terror organizations overseas. The NCCM has long pushed for the repeal of the 2015 Anti-Terrorism Act, which established the Review and Analysis Division (RAD) a bureau within the CRA charged with preventing “the abuse of registered charities for the financing of terrorism.”

The CRA put itself on NCCM’s agenda after it shut down two Muslim Brotherhood-linked charities. In 2011, the CRA closed the International Relief Fund for the Afflicted and Needy-Canada (IRFAN Canada) for supporting Hamas, a listed terror organization by Canada and the United States. Three years later, the Canadian government listed IRFAN-Canada itself as a terrorist entity in 2014.

In 2013, the CRA revoked the charitable status of the Islamic Society of North America Development Foundation on suspicion of terror finance. The CRA found that the foundation “facilitated the transfer of resources that may have been used to support the efforts of a political organization…and its armed wing. (Readers interested in learning more about CRA’s efforts to stop charities from financing terror overseas should see Submission: The Danger of Political Islam to Canada: With a Warning to America by Tom Quiggin.)

CRA’s successes didn’t sit well with NCCM. In April 2021, the organization produced a government-funded report which condemned CRA’s investigation into IRFAN’s operations, arguing, among other things, that Hamas has a separation between its political, social, and military wings.

The report set the stage for the attack on CRA at the “Islamophobia” summit in July. Prior to the summit, the NCCM issued a list of grievances and recommendations against the agency and called for a review of the RAD. In a nod to NCCM, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau signaled that his Minister of National Revenue, Diane Lebouthillier, should clamp down on the CRA, declaring that government agencies such as the Canada Revenue Agency “should support people, not target them.” Lebouthillier stated that CRA takes “systemic racism and discrimination…very seriously” and promised a CRA ombudsman would, “examine concerns raised by certain Muslim-led charities…about their experiences with the CRA.”

One year after the conference, the NCCM declared victory in a report documenting the Canadian government’s acceptance of its demands including a promise to spend $89.9 million over five years to “reform the current method of targeting terrorist financing within the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).”

Canadian politicians are reluctant to respond to NCCM’s campaign to cripple the CRA’s counter-terrorism efforts. Several FWI queries to Canadian MPs about the impact of NCCM’s influence on national security were ignored. One MP who did respond, Melissa Lantsman, deputy Conservative Leader, seemed reluctant to mention NCCM by name.

“CRA has the responsibility to scrutinize everyone equally to protect the integrity of our system and our tax dollars.” she said.

Speaking of tax dollars, NCCM has proven itself adept at convincing Canadian officials to pour funding into Muslim activism. As part of Canada’s Budget 2022, the government plans to pour $85 million into its National Action Plan on Combatting Hate, a plan apparently drafted by NCCM. Amongst its numerous initiatives, is the Canadian Race Relations Foundation (CRRF), which created the Task Force on Hate Crimes. The Executive Director of the CRRF, Mohammed Hashim, is also NCCM’s chair of their “Stronger Together” campaign.

NCCM keeps the campaign’s agenda hidden, but documents found on the presentation platform Prezi reveal a grassroots advocacy manual with established teams in 11 cities. NCCM encourages volunteers to, “Organize one or more community conversation/town halls/teach-ins to inform community about Bill C-51,” and “Meet local MPs face to face to discuss community issues. Start with Bill C-51.” Bill C-51 is Canada’s 2015 “Anti-terrorism Act.” NCCM wants it repealed.

NCCM bragged on Twitter of obtaining $5.6 million for a “Special Representative on Combating Islamophobia,” $4 million for the “Muslims in Canada Archives,” $85 million for a new “Anti-Racism Strategy and Nation (sic) Action Plan on Combating Hate.” It also boasted of its successful effort to interfere with the CRA’s enforcement efforts, which it passed off as an $89.9 million policy to “reform the current method of targeting terrorist financing in Canada.”…

What the Classified Scandal Shows About Biden’s Foreign Connections

Biden’s misappropriated classified documents problem keeps getting worse with a second tranche of documents being discovered at another location. It is now clear that the first set of classified documents found at the Penn Biden Center for Diplomacy and Global Engagement was not an isolated incident. Despite that, the FBI and National Archives are continuing to take a casual approach to the case. There have been no raids of Biden facilities. And won’t be.

But beyond the misappropriation of classified documents, a violation of the Espionage Act, the discovery renews old questions about the foreign connections of Joe Biden and his family.

While details about the classified documents remain scant, we know that they included briefing materials related to three countries: Ukraine, Iran and the United Kingdom.

It may be a coincidence that Biden has corrupt ties to two of the countries on the list, but it’s more likely that there was something in these briefing materials that specifically interested him.

The most prominent of the Trump documents at the heart of the illegal Mar-a-Lago raid by the Biden administration focused on his peace efforts with North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un. Trump personally staked a great deal on trying to forge a personal connection with Kim and it is not surprising that he would have wanted to retain access to some of the correspondence.

There’s no apparent reason why Biden, on leaving office as vice president, should have kept memos and intelligence materials about Iran, the UK and Ukraine. And yet he had strong official and unofficial relationships with Iran and Ukraine that crossed the streams of government policy and personal gain.

That may explain why Biden, as a private citizen, felt the need to retain classified documents.

The Penn Biden Center, the location where the first set of documents was found, was not just an academic project, it was a humbler version of the Clinton Foundation. Like it, the Penn Biden Center was a prepping stage for the Biden administration financed by foreign donors. Such organizations often focus on ‘global engagement’ or ‘international humanitarian projects’, but, as a practical matter, provide jobs for past and future administration officials using foreign money.

Foreign donors get access to future administration officials who will be in a position to set foreign policy. Ten Biden administration officials were employed at the Penn Biden Center. Secretary of State Blinken served as a managing director of a center that at various points took in $30 million from Chinese donors. Most of that money was provided “anonymously”.

Beyond Biden’s known ties to China, he had deep ties to Ukraine and Iran.

Biden’s level of involvement in Ukraine during the Obama administration was strange because it was an unlikely backwater for an ambitious veep who dreamed of replacing his boss to focus on. Few Americans paid attention to it, even during the original Russian invasion, unlike Trump’s focus on North Korea, and Ukraine could not be expected to pay political dividends.

However, while Biden became Obama’s point man on Ukraine, his son, Hunter Biden, was serving as a director on the board of the Ukrainian energy company, Burisma. In the process, the ‘Big Guy’ appears to have met with a Burisma adviser. While Hunter sat on the board, his father was pressuring the government to “reform” its energy industry.

While the nature of the classified documents on Ukraine are unknown, such materials would be potentially very valuable to investors looking to gauge where they should put their money. Briefing materials could indicate anything from information about Ukraine’s industry, behind-the-scenes dealings and the foreign policy of other countries toward it.

Even if Penn Biden Center officials did not provide direct access to such documents, having them would be a significant asset and a reference point for outside donors or for themselves.

Iran, the other country at the center of the classified documents scandal, is also an energy state and one that has extensive connections to Joe Biden.

Biden’s relationship with the Islamic terror state began early on when he had celebrated the Islamic takeover of Iran and opposed the rescue of American hostages.

After 9/11, Biden proposed, “this would be a good time to send, no strings attached, a check for $200 million to Iran.”

In 2002, he addressed the American Iranian Council whose founder had run for the presidency of Iran. Later that year, Biden was raising big money from Iran supporters and urging that Iran be allowed to join the WTO. In 2007, Biden warned that if Bush bombed Iran, he would impeach him. A year later, he told Israelis that they would have to accept Iran’s nuclear program.

A spokesman for the Student Movement Coordination Committee for Democracy in Iran warned that Biden’s campaigns “have been financed by Islamic charities of the Iranian regime based in California.”

“Biden’s political games have made him Tehran’s favorite senator,” an opinion piece in the Washington Post noted.

The Biden-Iran relationship appears to have continued not only during the Obama administration, when the terror state’s nuclear weapons program was legalized, but now.

As the Freedom Center revealed last year, one of Biden’s bundlers during his presidential campaign was the executive director of NIAC Action and the former policy director of the National Iranian American Council: often referred to as the Iran Lobby.

We also exposed the fact that the Iranian hackers who appear to have run a false flag operation for Biden in the 2020 election were linked to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps. In 2007, Biden was one of only 22 senators to vote against designating the IRGC as a terror group.

Once in office, Biden has offered Iran covert sanctions relief and attempted to restart the legitimation of Iran’s nuclear weapons program that had begun under his former boss.

Is it a coincidence that Biden profited and kept classified documents from Ukraine and Iran?

Biden’s ties to Ukraine and Iran have previously spurred suspicions of corruption and calls for investigations. The revelation that his people had taken and kept classified documents involving both countries should be a significant red flag. And another example of Biden mixing the personal and the political, national policy and economic interest in these two major flashpoints.

There are still many unanswered questions about the classified documents.

Why would the Penn Biden Center have needed classified briefing materials? And why did it take so long to disclose their presence? The timing of the discovery in November, right before the midterm elections, is interesting. Until the midterms, it appeared unlikely that Biden would be able to run for another term. The Democrat showing in the midterms however has all but locked in the nomination for Biden. At least the way things stand now. Had Biden been forced to step down after one term, it’s likely that the Penn Biden Center might have been a hub for him again.

The lawyers who found the documents were possibly exploring the possibility or closing the door on it depending on which way Biden’s people thought the midterms would shake out.

Disclosing the classified materials suggested that no one expects Biden to return to Penn Biden. Instead a ‘house cleaning operation’ was underway with the aim of defusing scandals and minimizing legal risks ahead of the 2024 election.

Whatever damage was done with these classified documents has been done. Much as with the Clinton Foundation, all that remains is the cover-up.

NHL Warned by DeSantis Administration for ‘Discrimination’ Permitting Only Non-Whites, Non-Males

FORT LAUDERDALE (FLV) – Gov. Ron DeSantis’ office issued a warning for the National Hockey League’s reported Pathway to Hockey Summit advertisement in Fort Lauderdale for “discrimination.”

In a post on LinkedIn, the NHL says it is only permitting those who meet the following qualifications:

Participants must be 18 years of age or older, based in the U.S., and identify as female, Black, Asian/Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, Indigenous, LGBTQIA+, and/or a person with a disability. Veterans are also welcome and encouraged to attend.

DeSantis’ office warned the NHL that “discrimination of any sort is not welcome in the state of Florida, and we do not abide by the woke notion that discrimination should be overlooked if applied in a politically popular manner or against a politically unpopular demographic.”

“We are fighting all discrimination in our schools and our workplaces, and we will fight it in publicly accessible places of meeting or activity,” they continued. “We call upon the National Hockey League to immediately remove and denounce the discriminatory prohibitions it has imposed on attendance to the 2023 ‘Pathway to Hockey’ summit.”

The NHL says those who apply to attend the event must have done so by Friday, Jan. 13 at 11:59 p.m. EST. Those who are accepted will be notified on Jan. 17 if they were “accepted to attend.”

To be accepted, they said one must be present in Fort Lauderdale on Feb. 2. Registration is free.
