Ottawa funded rock star photo gala and sex toy exhibit: Taxpayers Federation

OTTAWA, ON: The Canadian Taxpayers Federation today called on the Trudeau government to scrap its wasteful Mission Cultural Fund (MCF) which has seen millions in taxpayer dollars spent on dubious “cultural” activities.

“The Mission Cultural Fund supposedly exists for the purpose of burnishing Canada’s image around the world,” said CTF Federal Director Aaron Wudrick. “It’s hard to see how spending $51,000 to exhibit Bryan Adams’ photos at a red carpet gala in Toronto does that.”

n May 2017, the Royal Ontario Museum hosted an event featuring photos taken by Adams along with a cocktail reception with tickets for tables running from $25,000 to $50,000. The MCF provided $51,000 to the event, according to documents obtained by the Canadian Taxpayers Federation.

The MCF also provided Canadian artist Peaches with an $8,800 subsidy for her 2019 art exhibit in Hamburg, Germany, entitled “Whose Jizz Is This.” It featured sculptures, prints, videos and an eclectic cast of giant sex toys called the Fleshies.

“While there’s no doubt it was a stimulating exhibit, it’s hard to see how this was advancing Canada’s brand,” said Wudrick.

Bombshell: Madagascar President Claims WHO Offered $20M Bribe To Poison COVID-19 Cure

In a shocking development the President of Madagascar has made a sensational claim that the WHO offered $20m bribe to poison COVID-19 cure.

The herbal remedy called COVID-19 Organics made from Artemisia can cure COVID-19 patients within ten days said the President.

He also raised the question that if it was a European country that had actually discovered this remedy, would there be so much doubt?

The President of Madagascar Andry Rajoelina has accused the World Health Organisation of a plot to have its COVID-19 Organics, the local African ‘cure’ for the virus poisoned.

Rajoelina claims WHO offered a $20 million bribe to poisoned their medicine, Tanzania Perspective reported on the front-page of its 14th May edition.

The President of Madagascar believes the only reason the rest of the world has refused to treat Madagascar’s cure for the coronavirus with urgency and respect is that the remedy comes from Africa.

In an interview with French media, President Rajoelina reportedly said he has noticed what he believes stems from usual condescension toward Africans.

“I think the problem is that (the drink) comes from Africa and they can’t admit… that a country like Madagascar… has come up with this formula to save the world.”

“What is the problem with Covid-Organics, really? Could it be that this product comes from Africa? Could it be that it’s not OK for a country like Madagascar, which is the 63rd poorest country in the world… to have come up with (this formula) that can help save the world?”

“If it wasn’t Madagascar, and if it was a European country that had actually discovered this remedy, would there be so much doubt? I don’t think so,” said Africa’s youngest head of state, the President of Madagascar Andry Rajoelina.

The remedy, COVID Organics, is made from Artemisia, a plant imported into Madagascar in the 1970s from China to treat malaria.

Artemisia has had proven success against malaria and according to President Rajoelina it can cure COVID-19 patients within ten days.

However, the WHO has criticized such natural therapeutic measures against the coronavirus as blind faith.

In response to the skepticism with which the WHO is treating the COVID Organics, Rajoelina said, “No country or organisation will keep us from going forward.”

A host of other African countries including, Tanzania, Guinea-Bissau, DR Congo and Niger, have imported the Madagascan made recipe.

Meanwhile, in yet another African nation Nigeria, Bill Gates has been caught bribing forced Coronavirus program. Based on an intercepted human intelligence report, a controversy has erupted in Nigeria whereby it is revealed that Bill Gates offered $10 million bribe for a forced vaccination program for Coronavirus to the Nigerian House of Representatives.

The opposition political parties rejected the “foreign-sponsored Bill” mandating the compulsory vaccination of all Nigerians even when the vaccines have not been discovered and demanded the Speaker be impeached if he forces the bill on members.

Just a couple of days later, an Italian politician demanded the arrest of Bill Gates in the Italian parliament. Sara Cunial, the Member of Parliament for Rome denounced Bill Gates as a “vaccine criminal” and urged the Italian President to hand him over to the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity. She also exposed Bill Gates’ agenda in India and Africa, along with the plans to chip the human race through the digital identification program ID2020.

The Madagascar controversy has erupted days after Tanzania kicked out WHO after Goat and Papaya samples came COVID-19 Positive. With the rise in false Coronavirus cases, the Tanzanian President John Magufuli growing suspicious of the World Health Organization (WHO), decided to investigate the claims himself.

He sent the WHO samples of a goat, a papaya and a quail for testing. After all 3 samples came COVID-19 positive, the Tanzanian President is reported to have kicked out WHO from the country.

Following the Tanzanian lead Burundi also kicked out entire WHO Coronavirus Team from the country for interference in internal matters. In a letter addressed to WHO’s Africa headquarters, the foreign ministry says the four officials must leave by Friday.

Looks like WHO’s days in Africa are over!

SKENASI: Diversity is our weakness?

Diversity is our strength. At least, that’s what Justin Trudeau keeps telling us.

As a political slogan it works well. It’s brevity projects the feeling that Canada is a welcoming, and multicultural nation. A country where people from all over the world come to build a better life, where all are valued and where their different points of view benefit society at large.

That’s saying a lot for only four words. When combined with the Prime Minister’s constant virtue signaling it’s easy to see how this type of trite political messaging has been used so effectively.

Contrast that with Erin O’Toole’s leadership slogan “Take Canada Back.” As a message, it lacks positive or hopeful connotations and begs the following questions: take Canada back to what? Take it back from whom precisely? Neither question is beneficial to the Conservatives.

The first implies a return to some supposed golden age that may have either never existed or was not “golden” for all Canadians. Going “backwards” is almost always viewed negatively and is the direct opposite of the Liberal’s 2015 and working 2020 slogans “Choose Forward” and “Build Back Better.” When compared to Donald Trump’s “Make American Great Again” — which shares the Conservative’s idea of returning back to something — only Trump’s projects easily understood positive messaging: America will be great again.

The second, when held up against Trudeau —  a Prime Minister who describes himself as a staunch feminist and multiculturalist —  could easily be understood to imply taking it back to a time before feminism, multiculturalism and diversity.

When looked at alongside the aforementioned “backward focus” it’s not hard to see why it feels out of touch if not intolerant —  perhaps even racist to some.

At Least 51 Shot, 7 Fatally, Labor Day Weekend in Mayor Lightfoot’s Chicago

At least 51 people were shot, seven fatally, over Labor Day weekend in Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s (D) Chicago.

On September 7, 2020, Breitbart News reported that 40 people had been shot, six fatally, Friday into Monday morning of Labor Day weekend in Lightfoot’s Chicago. By 10 p.m. Monday night, the Chicago Sun-Times reported at least 51 shooting victims—44 non-fatal and seven fatal—for the weekend.

ABC 7 reported the total number of Labor Day weekend shooting victims as 54.

Breitbart News reported that an eight-year-old girl was among Chicago’s Labor Day weekend fatalities. She was in a vehicle with her mother and two other adults Monday just before 6 p.m. when someone in the vehicle behind them opened fire, shooting her, a 31-year-old man, and a 30-year-old woman, all in their backs.

The eight-year-old was pronounced dead at the hospital.

ABC 7 reports a 21-year-old man was also shot to death Monday “in Stony Island Park on the South Side” and a 22-year-old man was fatally shot while sitting in a vehicle in Humboldt Park.

As for non-fatal shootings, a Sunday incident in Chicago’s South Shore left four people on a sidewalk wounded when an SUV pulled up beside them and someone in the vehicle opened fire just before 6:30 p.m. Just hours before—at approximately 1:40 p.m.—three people were injured during a drive-by shooting in Chicago’s Gresham neighborhood.

Similar violence played out again and again during the weekend.

Breitbart News reported at least 46 were shot in Lightfoot’s Chicago last Friday, August 28, 2020, into Sunday night, August 30, 2020.

Michigan citizens launch initiative to dial back governor’s ‘unilateral’ COVID powers

September 8, 2020 (Daily Signal) — Some Michiganders say the law that Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is using to keep their state under COVID-19 lockdown is being abused, and they are pushing to reopen their state.

“Gov. Whitmer’s interpretation and use of the [Emergency Powers of Governor Act] is completely novel,” said Michael Van Beek, director of research at the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, a Midland, Michigan-based free market think tank.

The Emergency Powers of Governor Act, enacted in 1945, has been used only a handful of times before now, according to a new report from the Mackinac Center.

Specifically, according to the report, the act was used “in response to five emergency situations: labor unrest in Hillsdale in 1964, urban riots in 1967 and again in 1968, and twice in 1970, once for high mercury levels in Lake St. Clair and Lake Erie, and a second for a minor riot in Ypsilanti.”

“Constitutional concerns followed previous uses of these powers, but Gov. Whitmer has taken these to a new level,” Van Beek said. “No other governor has attempted to use the [law] to gain unilateral control over an emergency for an indefinite period.”

The push to open the state can be found at Unlock, where Michiganders are circulating petitions for a proposal that would repeal the Emergency Powers of Governor Act. The group says the law enables Whitmer to “govern by decree, without end, and without accountability.”
