MP calls for investigation into Trudeau govt’s $237 MILLION contract to former Liberal MP

New Democrat MP Charlie Angus is calling for an expanded investigation into “alleged favouritism in the awarding of federal contracts,” over the quarter-billion contract given to former Liberal MP Frank Baylis’ biomedical company. according to Blacklock’s Reporter.

“My good friend Frank Baylis, who I sat with for a number of years on committee, gets a contract,” said Angus. “How did that contract happen?”

The Montreal-based Baylis Medical Company Inc. was awarded a federal contract totalling $237 million to purchase 10,000 ventilators. The ventilators, though, had never been “approved in any jurisdiction to date,” a Department of Health memo revealed.

 

“The Government of Canada awarded a contract for approximately $237,300,000 to FTI Professional Grade Inc. for the purchase of 10,000 V4C-560 ventilators which are manufactured by Baylis Medical,” a spokesperson for the department said last week.

“The government needs to be on notice that the money they’re spending in a pandemic is an unprecedented amount of money,” said Angus. “The money has to go out the door fast, but it has to follow the rules so Canadians’ interests are put first, and not just people who know people in the government, not just in the power of the lobbyists.”

Angus continued: “Prior to the We Scandal Canadians had a real sense of trust, that we were in an unprecedented economic and medical crisis, the government is there to work for us, we put our confidence in them, and then we saw the We Scandal… People said, wait a minute: A group that close to the Prime Minister’s Office was given that much money? How did that happen?”

Thursday was a bad day for Netflix, one of the largest video content providers in the world, as well as being a left-leaning organization that partners with the Obamas and other well-known Democrats. Thursday was the day when thousands of people got upset that Netflix was screening and promoting a new French film about tweens twerking as a form of liberation.

The obvious problem, of course, is that what Netflix did is catnip for pedophiles. It also degrades our culture and encourages young children to sexualize themselves. Beyond the obvious, Netflix’s terrible decision points to a more serious problem in Western culture, which is thatsexualizing children is a precursor of state control over the individual.

The narrator explains that there are two columns for “right” and “wrong” behaviors. In the “right” column are “masks, distancing, and washing hands.” In the “wrong” column are “playing together, whispering, and singing.”

Sri Lanka Textbooks Encourage Muslims to Kill Apostates…

The police unit attached to Presidential Commission of Inquiry (PCoI) investigating the Easter Sunday attacks yesterday questioned UNP General Secretary and former Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam for around three hours.

Kariyawasam said that he had been questioned on the contents of certain school text books on Islam.

“These books were prepared by the National Institute of Education and by experts in the field. Usually, the minister has no involvement in the preparation of the text books. That’s what I told them,” he told the media after being questioned.

Earlier testifying before the PCoI, General Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena (BBS) Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera said that the content of some text books, recommended for those studying Islam was shocking. The thera read excerpts of a book called ‘Semata Islam’ (Islam for all,) recommended for GCE AL students and those studying being theologians. The excerpts said that those who left Islam should be given three days to repent and return, but Muslims had a responsibility to kill them if they didn’t return to Islam.

“The book also identifies those who are opposed to Thowheed, uncompromising monotheism. Grade Seven book for Islamic studies, printed by Educational Publishing Department, also says that Muslims must adhere to hadiths, sayings of Prophet Muhammad. These books encourage teachings that the Prophet Mohammed warned against.”

UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe too appeared at the police unit and was questioned for about four hours.

B.C. government undermines information rights: privacy commissioner

VICTORIA — A report says the British Columbia government is routinely undermining its own citizens’ rights by delaying requests for information.

Information and privacy commissioner Michael McEvoy says the government often extends the timelines for its response to access to information requests without legal authority.

The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act sets 30 days for the government to respond to information requests, which can be extended another 30 days but extensions past that need approval from the commissioner.

Woman Bleeds Uncontrollably After Botched Abortion at Austin Women’s Health Center

Recently received 911 records show that a 32-year old woman suffered a serious medical emergency after an abortion at the Austin Women’s Health Center in Austin, Texas, earlier this year.

The emergency, which occurred on February 22, 2020, involved post-abortion procedure hemorrhaging.

“We have a patient that we performed a procedure on, and she’s having excessive bleeding that we’re not able to control – as of yet,” the caller stated, according to a recording of the 911 call.

However, the caller, who was not with the patient at the time, was unsure if the woman was breathing normally or if she was in severe pain. She minimized the woman’s condition, which was serious, or an ambulance would not have been called.

Uncontrolled bleeding following abortions represents a potentially life-threatening condition.

The Computer Aided Dispatch printout from the incident indicated that an ambulance was dispatched and the woman was transported to South Austin Hospital for emergency care.

 

Abortionists listed on the Austin Women’s Health Center’s current facility license are Lendol L. “Tad” Davis and Jessica L. Rubino, who also conducts abortions for the Whole Women’s Health chain of abortion facilities.

The Austin Women’s Health Center was last inspected on March 26, 2019, when it was cited for violations related to medical emergency protocols.

The citations involved failure to provide abortion patients with the name and phone number to the hospital closest to their homes in the event that abortion complications developed after they left the abortion facility.  Two women, who came from other communities, were provided the contact information for hospitals that were not closest to their homes.

“The reason we report on medical emergencies at abortion facilities is so there is a record of the harm abortion causes women, in addition to the deaths of their babies.  Women are told that abortion is one of the safest procedures, but in truth, women are hospitalized and even killed by abortion on a regular basis,” said Operation Rescue President Troy Newman.  “The hundreds of such incident we have documented are just a small fraction of actual the physical damage done to women by abortion facilities all over the country. Even so, our documentation provides ample evidence to support the fact that abortion is not safe.”

Ontario highschool teachers make nearly $104,000 a year when including benefits and pensions

Unionized Ontario secondary school teachers make an average $103,926 annually when taking into account wages, benefits and pensions.

According to the Canadian Taxpayers Federation (CTF), that translates to around $536 for every school day.

The total compensation was obtained by the CTF through an access to information request filed with the Ministry of Education.

“Teacher compensation is skyrocketing in Ontario while student performance continues to decline,” CTF Ontario Director Jasmine Moulton told the Toronto Sun.

“The number of Ontario teachers earning a six-figure salary could now fill the town of Picton three times, Hanover twice and nearly the entire town of Bracebridge.”
