The Catholic Church in the U.S. is at a crossroads. As millions of devout followers filled the pews this Easter season to celebrate the religion’s most important holiday, others hovered at the door, hungry for community and spiritual guidance but furious at the church’s handling of the decades-long sex abuse crisis that’s resulted in young children being raped and abused by priests who were often protected by their superiors.
Seven months after a damning grand jury report in Pennsylvania revealed that 1,000 children had been abused at the hands of more than 300 priests, and as state attorneys general across the nation investigate the church, a Gallup poll published in March found that 37% of U.S. Catholics are considering leaving the church because of the sex abuse crisis and the church’s handling of it. That’s up significantly from 2002, when just 22% of Catholics said they were contemplating leaving their religion after The Boston Globe published an explosive series that initially exposed the abuse and subsequent cover-up.

Canadian pundit Spencer Fernando calls this “disgusting,” and it is, but it is no surprise. It has been clear for years which side the establishment media is on. It is not on the side of the people in the nations where it operates. It is not on the side of the victims or foes of jihad terror. It would have been far more surprising if the CBC had featured someone who stands up against jihad terror and Sharia oppression of women and others. But if it had done that, there would have been much more of an outcry than there has been in this case: CBC would have been inundated with charges of “Islamophobia.” Such is the moral inversion of today’s public debate.
“DISGUSTING: Taxpayer-Funded CBC Puts Omar Khadr On Easter Sunday Show,” by Spencer Fernando, April 22, 2019 (thanks to David):
An appalling slap in the face to the Canadian People.
The argument for defunding CBC got another justification, as the forcibly taxpayer-funded CBC invited Omar Khadr onto their Easter Sunday show.
Khadr was featured on Tout le monde en parle, a show funded by the Quebec division of CBC.
A video of Khadr being welcomed by a bunch of pathetic fools can be watched below:
This is disgusting.
Omar Khadr already got $10.5 million in taxpayer dollars, and now the government controlled CBC is using our tax dollars to put him on TV in front of a cheering audience?
The timing is also horrendous.
CBC put him on TV on Easter Sunday, and even after the Sri Lanka terror attacks against Christians, still decided to run the segment.
So, not only did they fail to have the common sense to not invite him in the first place, but they couldn’t even show the most basic and minimal respect to Canadian Christians by cancelling the segment….
The College of Natural Science at Michigan State University urged students to use the singular pronoun “they” in an early April “transgender visibility” email.
MSU’s NatSci Council on Diversity and Community authored the email obtained by Campus Reform entitled “Increasing transgender visibility on campus,” which asked students to “reflect on how visibility of minoritized groups is essential to changing our campus culture,” and provided several online resources to help improve students’ understanding.
These included links to LGBT resource centers, how to “learn about and start using the singular they,” a resource on hosting queer inclusive workshops, one dedicated to inviting “transgender and gender-diverse scientists,” guides on transphobia, and more.
“No science is needed to support transgender and non-binary identities,” the email stated. “It is simply a matter of affirming their experiences.”
ORANGE COUNTY, California, April 19, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – California is about to implement new abortion- and homosexuality-promoting sex education lessons, and one school district has told parents they have no choice but to expose their children to them.
California enacted the California Healthy Youth Act in 2015, but only now are its controversial provisions starting to take effect in classrooms. Under the auspices of health, the law says it will equip students to develop “healthy attitudes” on “gender [and] sexual orientation,” among other things. It also says it will inform students about the “effectiveness and safety of all FDA-approved contraceptive methods,” and facilitate “objective discussion” about “parenting, adoption, and abortion.”
RedState contributor Kira Davis, a resident of Orange County, California, warns that among the teaching materials approved for use under this law are a study guide for the transgender children’s book I Am Jazz, as well as a “sexual health toolkit.”
This “toolkit,” funded in part by the George Soros-connected Tides Center, offers kids tips on using sex toys and anal lubricant. It defines “anal intercourse,” “phone sex,” and more as “common sexual behaviors.” It teaches that “abstinence” and “virginity” can mean engaging in a variety of sexual activities, but stopping short of intercourse.
“What if you don’t have time or money to buy sex toys?” the guide asks on page C-51. “Cucumbers, carrots, and bananas (with the peel) make great dildos. Just remember to use a condom!”
It teaches that one of the “cons” of abstaining from all sexual activity is that it “requires motivation, self-control and communication from both partners.”
The “toolkit” lists as resources Planned Parenthood and the radically pro-homosexual and pro-abortion group Advocates for Youth.
The law also mandates that lessons and materials “affirmatively recognize” varying sexual orientations, and that they “be inclusive of same-sex relationships.” Instruction must take a positive view of gender confusion, and explore “the harm of negative gender stereotypes.”
Davis notes that the California Healthy Youth Act expressly protects parents’ rights to “excuse their children from participation” in sex education courses without penalty of any kind, because “parents and guardians have the ultimate responsibility for imparting values regarding human sexuality to their children.”
The Orange County school district apparently interprets this differently.
Selina Soule is a Glastonbury, Connecticut, teen athlete who was forced by state authorities to compete against teen boys because they identify as female. Now, she is speaking out about how unfair it is to allow boys claiming to be girls, to compete against natural-born females.
In this era of #MeToo where women are supposed to be somehow getting their due consideration in society, one place where women have become second class citizens is in women’s sports where men claiming to be transgender have been taking away sports titles from girls all across the country.
Connecticut high schooler Selina Soule, who was beaten in a track event by two boys who claim to be “transitioning” to girls, addressed the issue in a new video slamming federal bill HR5, The Equality Act, that would force every school in the nation to allow boys to compete as girls.
“I will not be quiet about this. HR5, The Equality Act will impose a nationwide transgender athletics policy on America,” Soule said. “It will endanger women and girls of all ages by opening up every sports team in the country to any male who self-identifies as female.”
This year, two transgender students, Terry Miller and Andraya Yearwood, took 1st and 2nd place in the 2019 Connecticut State Championships in Girls Track. The two boys who claim they are transitioning to become girls launched a wide conversation with many natural-born girls saying that the two boys were too powerful for any girl to beat and that it was unfair to allow them to compete as girls. The fact that the two boys so easily won the state championships lends credence to the complaints.
Soule posted her own video to Youtube to explain her side of the transgender story.
The following are a few clippings from newspaper archives pointing to the existence of an “Anti-Man Movement” – so called by the women who formed them – existing as early as 1830. Clearly ‘anti-man’ turned out to be a branding problem which would later be changed to ‘suffragettes/feminists.’ – PW
A meeting of the ladies in Maine has lately been held, to take into consideration the propriety of establishing a society to be called the Anti-man Society. It is said be an established fact that for the last century the male party have, by unholy combination, contrived keep all political offices themselves, to the exclusion women. They are now resolved to put down this unrighteous combination, and if not exclude men entirely at least to have equal share among themselves.— Philadelphia Paper.
