Eric Brazeau continues his relentless fight for freedom of speech and against radical Islam in Canada. Equipped with signs featuring quotes from supplications recited at Masjid Toronto mosque, Brazau and fellow activists held a protest at CBC building and Dundas Square on Friday, March 17, 2017.
Speaking with CIJnews on March 18, 2017, Brazau said that the protest was aimed atCBC’s biased reporting on the hateful messages expressed by imams at Masjid Toronto mosque (at 168 Dundas Street West), and specifically the reluctance of CBC to publish the content of these sermons that incite hate against non-Muslims in general, and specifically “Jews”, “polytheists” (Christians), “infidels” and the “atheists” and support the jihad around the world.
In 2016, imams at Masjid Toronto mosque recited the following supplications:
“O Allah! We ask you… [to give us] victory over the enemies… O Allah! Count their number; slay them one by one and spare not one of them. O Allah! Do not defer [it] from them… [O Allah!] Give us victory over the disbelieving people… O Allah! Give victory to Islam and raise the standing the Muslims. And humiliate the polytheism and polytheists… O Allah! Count their number; slay them one by one and spare not one of them. O Allah! Purify Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Jews!… O Allah! Raise the standing of Islam and the Muslims. And humiliate the polytheism, the polytheists, the infidels and the atheists. And Give victory (help) to your slaves who believe in the oneness of Allah. O Allah! Give victory to our oppressed and deprived Muslim brothers and the mujahideen (those who engage in jihad) everywhere.”

Dozens of people gathered around Eric Brazau at Dundas Square accusing him of hate speech for holding a sign that featured the following quote from a sermon at Masjid Toronto mosque: “O Allah! Purify Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Jews!”
Brazau is seen trying to explain to the crowd that he was protesting against the hateful speech at the mosque but to no avail.
According to Brazau, two men physically assaulted him, one at Dundas Square and the second pushed him into the road at Yonge Street trying to grab his sign.
A man who confronted Brazau, portrayed the sign “O Allah! Purify Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Jews!” as hateful, but persistently refused to condemn the mosque but rather accused Brazau for spreading hate.
On Friday, March 10, 2017, Eric Brazau went to Toronto’s City Hall and delivered the following letter to Mayor John Tory (the story was first published by Blogwrath – click HERE):
March 10, 2017
To Honorable John Tory
Concerning the Masjid Toronto, 168 Dundas Street West
Will you definitively retract your support and condemn this mosque that calls for murder?
This mosque is fanning the flames of intolerance, bigotry, and hate.
This is in complete contravention of the spirit of m-103.
Motion 103 “Systemic racism and religious discrimination”, which also known as the anti-Islamophobia motion, demands that “the government should recognize the need to quell the increasing public climate of hate and fear… condemn Islamophobia and all forms of systemic racism and religious discrimination and take note of the House of Commons’ petition e-411 and the issues raised by it” and “develop a whole-of-government approach to reducing or eliminating systemic racism and religious discrimination including Islamophobia, in Canada.”
O Allah! We ask you… [to give us] victory over the enemies.
[O Allah!] Give us victory over the disbelieving people…
Allah! Count their number; slay them one by one and spare not one of them.
Purify Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Jews! O Allah! Purify Al-Aqsa Mosque from the filth of the Jews!
You were quick to condemn the marchers on Friday, February 17, 2017 as Islamophobic. We ask you to publicly admit your mistake and issue an apology to these marchers, who exposed this hatred. These marchers/demonstrators should be congratulated for exposing the Evil that is festering in this mosque.
Will you retract your public support for this mosque?
