Deported Taiwanese to go on trail on mainland

All 45 Taiwanese wire fraud suspects detained in Beijing after being deported from Kenya have confessed to their crimes and will be put on trial, a mainland police official said, signalling a refusal to compromise on a case that has raised new frictions between Taiwan and the mainland.

The group is now being investigated and will be prosecuted together with 32 mainlanders deported earlier this month along with them, the official Xinhua News Agency quoted Chen Shiqu, a deputy inspector with Public Security Ministry’s criminal inspection bureau, as saying.

Taiwan has protested the deportation to the mainland, and many see in Beijing’s pressure on Kenya behind the decision. Beijing says it has jurisdiction in the case because it says the victims were all mainlanders and has complained that Taiwan has not sufficiently punished suspects in previous such case.

“The suspects specifically targeted people on the Chinese mainland and their victims are from the mainland. Not to mention that many of the suspects are themselves from the mainland,” Chen was quoted as saying.

Chen’s made the remarks to a Taiwanese delegation on a fact-finding mission when they visited the detention centre where the suspects are being held.

Although the mainland has ruled out sending the 45 to Taiwan for prosecution or to serve out their sentences, the sides are exploring ways to cooperate in fighting and prosecuting such cases in future.

‘Widespread’ workplace abuse persists for Chinese restaurant workers

 

Chinese workers in Greater Toronto restaurants face “widespread and persistent” workplace abuse, including being routinely denied minimum wage, overtime pay and vacation pay, according to a new report.

 

The report to be released Monday finds that some 43 per cent of Chinese workers earned less than the minimum wage, currently set at $11.25. Over half of the respondents reported working more than 40 hours a week, but only 11 per cent of those eligible for overtime pay said they received it.

 

The majority of workers were also cheated out of their statutory entitlements, the report shows: 61 per cent said their employers denied them public holidays, and 57 per cent said they did not receive vacation pay.

 

“The experience of Chinese restaurant workers stands out as a powerful illustration of the atrocities suffered by some of the most vulnerable workers in our economy, as well as a demonstration of the complete failure of the Ontario government to act on its legal obligation to protect workers,” says the Metro Toronto Chinese and Southeast Asian Legal Clinic report called “Sweet & Sour: The Struggle of Chinese Restaurant-workers.”

 

Avvy Go, director of the clinic, said the findings were no different from a similar survey it did almost three decades ago.

 

“Unfortunately, nothing has changed in the last 30 years. Our clients come to us asking for help on the same issues over their employment rights. They are still paid half in cash, half by cheque, with a pay stub,” Go said in an interview.

“We are still banging our heads against the same system over and over again. We call the report Sweet & Sour because it is a good deal for restaurant patrons and owners but sour for the workers.”

 

The clinic undertook the survey to identify the scale of workplace exploitation experienced by Chinese workers, after being contacted by more than 600 clients with complaints about employment standards violations over the past three years.

Muslims In Uganda Kill Christians’ Livestock, Demolish Church Building

 

Muslims in a village in eastern Uganda last week killed Christians’ pigs and tore down their church building, sources said.

A Muslim mob demolished the building of the 450-member Nalugondo Church of Uganda building at about midnight on April 12, shouting, “We cannot live together with neighbors who are infidels. We have to fight for the cause of Allah,” according to area sources. Nalugondo village is near Bugade, Mayuge District, 93 miles east of Kampala.

Two days earlier, sources said, a group of Muslims slaughtered a church lay leader’s pigs, a key source of income.

Singing praises to Allah and shouting, “Allah only is to be worshipped, and Muhammad is his prophet,” the group led by area Muslim Kambo Daudo killed Samuel Kijali’s pigs at 4 p.m. on April 10, as Kijali’s wife watched helplessly.

A few weeks before the slaughter, Kijali had received text messages on his phone saying that church members must stop raising pigs. “Let this be known to your church members that pigs are extremely unholy and an abomination before Allah, very outrageous and shameful,” one text read. “They are haram [forbidden] and unlawful as our holy Quran does prohibit them.” Muslims also sent a text message to church member Kamaala Yokosani – “We are soon coming for the heads of your pigs” – before killing eight of his pigs on April 5, sources said. Tourists are cancelling visits to North Carolina and Mississippi because a new law prevents those who are men from going into girls’ bathrooms. I guess they feel they will miss out on some essential sightseeing!

The singer Bryan Adams canceled his concert in Mississippi in protest against what he called an “anti-L.G.B.T.” law, and the actress Sharon Stone decided not to film a movie there. In North Carolina, Bruce Springsteen, Ringo Starr, Pearl Jam and Ani DiFranco have canceled shows in response to a law regulating transgender bathroom access.

Making matters tougher for the businesses, the Foreign Office in Britain has issued an advisory for L.G.B.T. travelers going to the two states based on the laws.

What was the advisory–“If you’re a man planning to do sightseeing in a girl’s bathroom in NC, don’t snap any pictures”?

The impact is already being felt in North Carolina, which last month passed a law that limits transgender people to using bathrooms that match the sex on their birth certificates.

Not just matching their birth certificate, but also matching the sex in their pants too.

In Charlotte, which has a large convention center, more than 20 conventions have either canceled or are no longer considering holding their event in the state, resulting in a loss of around $2.5 million according to the Charlotte Regional Visitors Authority.

Which is more important, protecting young girls from rape, or $2.5 million in revenue?

Rimsky Yuen denies inaction over autonomy calls

The Secretary for Justice, Rimsky Yuen, has denied that the SAR government has done nothing about the people advocating independence for Hong Kong.

This comes after The People’s Daily newspaper published an article saying the SAR government should consider taking legal action against those who call for independence.

Yuen reiterated that the government has been working closely with law enforcement agencies to tackle the issue.

TOKYO —

Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s ruling party won an important by-election on Sunday, media projected, welcome news for Japan’s leader before summer elections at which revising the pacifist constitution will be a key issue.

In the upcoming upper house elections, the hawkish Abe is aiming to secure a two-thirds majority for his Liberal Democratic Party in combination with coalition allies and supporters so that he can alter the charter.

Analysts said the lower house by-election on the northern island of Hokkaido was a test for Abe’s national security agenda, including new laws that took effect last month.

Under that legislation, the Self-Defense Forces, could under certain conditions go into battle abroad to protect allies.

The changes sparked nationwide protests, but Abe continues to press his long-cherished ambition to revise the constitution—imposed by the United States after World War II—which renounces the right to wage war.

The LDP and allies already have a two-thirds majority in the more powerful lower house, where elections are not due until late 2018, unless Abe chooses to dissolve the chamber before then.

But constitutional revision requires two-thirds majorities in both houses and the support of a majority in a national referendum.

LDP candidate Yoshiaki Wada won the Hokkaido by-election in a tight race against an independent backed by opposition parties, according to exit poll projections by public broadcaster NHK and Jiji Press. Voter turnout was 57.63%, the Hokkaido election board said.

Wada is the son-in-law of Nobutaka Machimura, a former foreign minister whose death forced the election.

Abe welcomed the result as a “big” win ahead of the summer vote, Jiji reported.

In the day’s other lower house by-election in Kyoto Prefecture, Kenta Izumi of the opposition Democratic Party was tipped as the winner.

That election was held to fill the seat of an LDP lawmaker who resigned in disgrace earlier this year after he admitted cheating on his wife, also a member of parliament.

The LDP refrained from fielding a candidate in the vote.

By now you might have seen the confusing news of the treasury replacing President Andrew Jackson on the $20 bill for Harriet Tubman. While such a move would normally lead us to scratch our heads, when you look deeper the reasoning behind the decision becomes clear.

In an age where literally anything else would be more important to focus on right now, it takes a very ballsy agenda to outright dismantle a past American great. It seems that the powers that be enjoy pushing the line to test the limits of how much the American people will accept outright mocking of their political process.

There’s no real way to completely describe the aura and attitude of Andrew Jackson besides the word badass. He was one of the last true patriot presidents and we owe a lot of America’s success to his policies and personality.  Here are a few quick facts on Andrew Jackson:

  • Involved in over 103 duels. That’s right, the “take five paces back to back then turn and shoot” type of duels. Usually the duel was to protect the integrity of his wife.
  • Saved America from being recaptured by the British. While being at war with several factions of the Indians and French, Jackson also fought off a formidable army of British in the battle of New Orleans.
  • Was the only president to lead America out of debt. Jackson hated the private banking cartels and fought them aggressively through his presidency.
  • The first president with an assassination attempt. When the gun didn’t function properly, Jackson beat the assassin with this cane!

Those are only a few of the courageous acts from a true American. So why does the SJWs say he was, like, a total meanie to the Indians and stuff?

Because they don’t read history or live in reality. The reality was that rural American populations were being attacked and entire towns wiped out by the Red Stick Indian tribe. From his biography,

In 1813 a faction of the Creek Indian Nation called the Red Sticks under Red Eagle, slew nearly 250 Alabama settlers in a brutal manner, resulting in the calling out of two 2,500 man forces, one under Jackson to punish and stop the Indians. It was feared that the Indians, in close contact with the Spanish, would begin a cooperative campaign against the southern U.S.

It goes on to record that Jackson even had one of his own men shot who threatened to abandon his post. There’s no doubt Jackson was a hard and relentless man. However, the age he lived in demanded that he do what was necessary for the survival of the American people.

Jackson was involved in what was later called the “Banking Wars.” He was strongly against the private national banking system which could create debt out of thin air and own the nation through interest (sound familiar?). In the end, Jackson was victorious taking down the national private bank, thus delivering America debt free for the only time in its history. His later years would be described as “empire building” and you can do your own research from here.

Jackson was aggressively against the private banking system and effectively ended it. Now the Federal Reserve, which is our modern private banking system, gets their revenge while mocking the American people by removing their historical enemy.

The Myth Of Harriet Tubman

According to the Maxwell School of Syracuse University, a study was done on the truth of this woman and the conclusion was:

That is where much of the misinformation about her has come from—historical fiction that is not always clear about when it is historical and when it is fictive.

“So little information about Tubman has been based on fact and so much based on myth and created history,” says anthropologist Douglas Armstrong. It seems most of her deeds were excessively exaggerated or completely made up. Milton Sernett, another researcher on the project, also stated;

It gradually dawned on me that much of what we as Americans thought we knew about Harriet Tubman was not derived from good historical research but was a perpetuation of a larger-than-life story,” he says. “The symbol had overpowered the life, had overshadowed the historical person.

So how can a more-or-less mythical American figure topple the true heroic deeds of one of America’s most important icons? Because America is cucked. The Fed owns your interpretation of history and culture at this point. With a legion of SJWs who support this narrative, it will be hard press to get the truth out.

This action will not be taking place until at least 2020. That’s the deadline. So we still have time to turn things around. Get educated with the power of truth and reality. Go to battle against shills any chance you get. Not to persuade them, but to show others the fallacy of their arguments.

As you go through this process, you will only see more and more of your culture covered up, slandered or openly mocked by the elite and their minions until the official narrative is busted open in the mainstream. Be the one who helps that initiative.

Mississauga Living Arts Centre canceled an event scheduled by pro Caliphate group

The website DogmaWatch reports that a scheduled event by Hizb ut-Tahrir, a radical Islamic group, at the Mississauga Living Arts Centre, has been canceled.

According to the report, Gerry Townsend, CEO of Mississauga Living Arts Centre, confirmed the cancellation explaining that “there has been a bit of publicity about this organization we thought it was an inappropriate use of our premises.”

Few days ago, CIJnews has reported on the intention of Hizb ut-Tahrir to hold on May 21, 2016 at Mississauga Living Arts Centre an event called “How Can the Ummah [Muslim nation] become Strong and Independent?”

 

Tom Quiggin, a member of the Terrorism and Security Experts of Canada Network (TSEC), wrote in his recent article the following on Hizb ut-Tahrir:

Now that Target is letting men use women’s bathrooms and changing rooms, what will happen the first time woman is raped or molested or spied upon by a man?

Will the media hush up the news? Or will they say that any objection to this is “transphobia”, just as after every Islamist bomb attack they cry out against “Islamophobia?”

It’s really a sick society we live in that leaves women open to sexual predators. It should be obvious to every one why women need separate rooms, for their own safety.

Expect womens’ groups to be conspicuously silent when all the raping starts.

The retailer added, “We welcome transgender team members and guests to use the restroom or fitting room facility that corresponds with their gender identity.”

“Everyone deserves to feel like they belong,” the statement concluded. “You’ll always be accepted, respected and welcomed at Target.”

Will the rapists and the pedophiles also be respected and welcomed at Target?

Liz Ammons, for instance, reminded Target that its policy is not made without dangerous consequences by posting the story of a pervert who was arrested after harassing girls in a Walmart bathroom.

“Dear Target, I am not one to treat others cruel,” Laura Prater wrote on the Target Facebook page, adding:

“However in your desire to be inclusive, you have failed to be inclusive to women and children. If anything change all your bathrooms and changing rooms to single stall. Perhaps you missed the recent news story in Washington State where a man kept filming women. Perhaps you have missed the other news stories where folks have used this as a way to bring harm? You need to seriously reconsider this decision. You are not above the laws to protect ALL your guests, not just the LGBT community.”

Donald Trump says he is A-Ok with men in girl’s bathrooms.

“Oh, I had a feeling that question was going to come up, I will tell you. North Carolina did something that was very strong. And they’re paying a big price. There’s a lot of problems,” the Republican presidential candidate said during a town hall event on NBC’s “Today.”

Trump sees the law keeping men out of women’s bathrooms as the “problem”, and he shows he is afraid of pressure from the left on this common sense issue.

“Leave it the way it is. North Carolina, what they’re going through with all the business that’s leaving, all of the strife — and this is on both sides. Leave it the way it is,” he said, referring to companies that have canceled plans to move or expand businesses in the state as a result of the law, which bans transgender individuals from using a bathroom that does not match their gender at birth.

“There have been very few complaints the way it is. People go. They use the bathroom that they feel is appropriate,” Trump said. “There has been so little trouble. And the problem with what happened in North Carolina is the strife and the economic — I mean, the economic punishment that they’re taking.”

What happens when men are in women’s locker rooms, where they are undressing? What happens when sexual predators corner young girls in bathrooms, or spy on them in stalls?

If Trump can’t take the right side on this obvious issue of common sense and decency, he’s totally unreliable.
