The annual rush of travelers during Japan’s Bon summer holidays peaked Wednesday, with roads, railway stations and airports packed with people headed for their hometowns and abroad.

According to Japan Railway group companies, reserved seats on the Tokaido Shinkansen bullet trains connecting Tokyo and Osaka were almost fully booked in the morning while all unreserved seats were taken on some bullet trains of the Tokaido, Joetsu and Hokuriku Shinkansen lines.

Following an incident on a Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train in June in which a man committed suicide by setting himself on fire, also causing the death of another passenger, JR group companies are beefing up security patrols in railway stations and inside the trains.

Domestic flights departing from Tokyo’s Haneda airport in the morning were more than 97 percent booked for both Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways, and planes to Sapporo and Fukuoka were nearly filled up until the evening.

On international flights, approximately 43,000 travelers will be flying out of Narita airport near Tokyo with nearly 20,000 leaving Haneda on Wednesday alone, according to the airports.

Vehicles were backed up for 45 kilometers on a section of the Kan-etsu expressway in Saitama Prefecture, north of Tokyo, in the morning while a 38-km backup was observed on part of the Tohoku expressway in Tochigi Prefecture, the Japan Road Traffic Information Center said.

The return rush in the holiday is expected to reach its peak on Saturday and Sunday.

The Cost of pandering women in College

Much has been made regarding how women are attending and graduating college in greater numbers than men. According to USA Today, women are 21% more likely to graduate college, and 48% more likely to earn an advanced degree (Sheffler, 2014), and yet women make up less than 30% of STEM graduates (Neuhauser, 2014). Women instead tend to major in fields like English and Liberal Arts (Goudreau, 2010) which earn far less than STEM, and often require an advanced degree simply to find employment within that field. In reality, the much-celebrated college attendance and graduation rates of women have little impact on the real world when they major in low-demand and low-paying subjects. Despite women taking over colleges, men are still earning more than women starting out after college precisely because men major in more lucrative fields like STEM (Sheffler, 2014).

It would be bad enough that men are continuously shamed for earning more than women, and told that because women get better grades in easier subjects, that women are more intelligent (SourceFed, 2014) or motivated (Lewin, 2006). However, women are also given disproportionate financial aid to attend college, even though they are now a sizeable majority of college students compared to men. While data is difficult to find, using the University of Oklahoma as an anecdotal example, in 2007 women received 78% of scholarships, and between the years of 2008 -2013 women received 89%, 77%, 68%, 94%, 92%, and 100% respectively (OU SLIS, 2013).

Government grants are another major source of funding for women wishing to attend college. There are numerous resources available created specifically for women (Scholarships for Women), but none specifically for men, unless you count athletic scholarships, which are a sticking point with Feminist activists who resent that female athletics lose money while male athletics make money for colleges (Bloomberg News, 2011). It seems fans aren’t interested in paying to watch female athletes perform at the level of a male high school junior varsity team. However, if you put athletics aside, and focus only on the resources available to help men obtain college degrees, those resources are sorely lacking, while money is being thrown at women who are wasting it on Liberal Arts degrees instead of STEM.

One of the unintended consequences of ignoring men in favor of women is that there is a shortage of STEM majors in the United States; causing employers to turn to H-1B visas in order to import immigrants from Asian countries to do the work, as there aren’t enough qualified Americans available (Logan, 2015). Algenol, a chemical company in Florida is quoted as saying that they always try to find qualified Americans to hire, but are often forced to turn to H-1B visas in order to fill vacancies (Logan, 2015).

The H-1B program is designed to bring in immigrant workers to work in specific technical fields like architecture, engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, biotech, accounting, business, as well as others (Logan, 2015), in other words, the fields that men traditionally specialize in.

According to the National Science Foundation, 19.25% of scientists were immigrants in 2005 (NSF, 2009). The only reason it isn’t higher is that there is a “cap” of H-1B visas at 65,000. However, Gary Beach of the Wall Street Journal advocates lifting that cap, as the United States needs more skilled technology workers (Beach, 2015). Beach further advocates that public education needs serious reform in order to teach the skills needed for technology, but that this will take 20-years to complete (Beach, 2015).

Speaking of public education, Christina Hoff Sommers summarizes how the problem starts there, wherein Feminism has become entrenched by saying…

“Being a boy can be a serious liability in today’s classroom. As a group, boys are noisy, rowdy and hard to manage. Many are messy, disorganized and won’t sit still. Young male rambunctiousness, according to a recent study, leads teachers to underestimate their intellectual and academic abilities. “Girl behavior is the gold standard in schools,” says psychologist Michael Thompson. “Boys are treated like defective girls” (Sommers, 2013).

In another article Sommers notes “teachers who work daily with male and female students tend to reflexively dismiss any challenge to the myth, or any evidence pointing to the very real crisis among boys” (Sommers, The War Against Boys, 2000). In fact, boys are more likely to be diagnosed with ADHD and drugged rather than receive help. Jane Collingwood of Psych Central notes that while adult diagnoses for ADHD are split evenly between men and women, 82% of teachers treat it as a male problem, with 40% admitting they don’t see the problem in girls (Collingwood). Coincidentally over 75% of teachers are female (NCES, 2013), with the number one reason men avoid becoming teachers being the fear of a false accusation of rape or abuse by a vindictive female student (Brace, 2012).

This fear of being falsely accused of rape is shared by male college students, as they are guilty until proven innocent in cases of rape or sexual assault ( Schow, 2014). Combined with the aforementioned lack of financial support, men are lagging behind women overall and yet remain the vast majority of STEM major graduates. All of this is happening while a STEM shortage is causing employers to import Asian immigrants.

Allow me to connect the dots now that we have analyzed the entire problem:

Girls are favored over boys in our public educational system

Girls are showered with money in order to attend college

Boys major in STEM, but not enough are entering college due to lack of financial support, or fear of a Feminist witch hunt

Girls are not majoring in STEM

Employers can’t find enough STEM workers to fill jobs and turn to H-1B visas to import skilled labor from Asia instead.

On March 19th 2015, President Barack Obama noted:

“When these tech jobs go unfilled, it’s a missed opportunity for low-wage workers who could transform their earnings potential with just a little bit of training. And that costs our whole economy in terms of lost wages and productivity” (Obama, 2015).

You will rarely hear me say this, but I agree with President Obama. Having tech jobs go unfilled or filled by immigrant workers on a temporary visa hurts the whole economy and country, especially long term, as these workers will eventually return to their home countries, taking their experience and skills with them. We need American workers in tech to remain competitive globally, and that means supporting the 49% of the population that actually has the desire and aptitude to enter STEM fields, and take these jobs in the first place.

Of course, the problem is that the takeover of colleges by women (regardless of how rigged the game is), is seen as a great Feminist accomplishment. In fact, the politically correct solution is to throw even MORE money at women in order to encourage them to enter STEM rather than simply give support to the men who would be better able to do it themselves (Koebler, 2011).

This is how societies commit suicide through Feminism. They try to make women and men equal by tearing men down, and then wonder where all their skilled labor went. STEM has been routinely identified as a key indicator of economic growth (Katsomitros, 2013), and women are not up to the task.

An article from the Chronicle of Higher Education contains the following telling quote:

“We have strong increases for international students, which is good because if we didn’t have strong enrollment from abroad, some graduate programs would be faltering, but there are some particular concerns about where declines continue to persist for U.S. students. We are seeing a widening gap between U.S. and international first-time enrollments in engineering, math, and computer science” (Patton, 2013).

This is the cost of pandering to women in college: Economic suicide.

Feminists, and How to Avoid Them

Miriam Mogilevsky (@sondosia on Twitter) doesn’t like men, but evidently those sexist oppressors won’t leave her alone:

I started to understand my frustrations with my male friends, roommates, and partners much better, because these imbalances have touched every single relationship I’ve ever had with a man. Male partners have consistently ignored glaring issues in the relationship so that I had to be the one to start the difficult conversation every single time, even though they supposedly had as much of a stake in the relationship as I did. Male roommates have made me beg and plead and send reminder texts to do even the most basic household management tasks. Male friends have tried to use me as a therapist, or drawn me into worrying about their physical health with them while refusing to see a doctor even though they had insurance.
Well-meaning men of varying roles in my life have consistently ignored my nonverbal cues, even very visible ones, forcing me to constantly have to articulate boundaries that ought to be obvious, over and over. . . .
This is why being in relationship with men, even platonically, is often so exhausting for me. As much as I love them and care for them, it feels like work.

You can read the rest. Miriam Mogilevsky is a feminist because she doesn’t like men, and yet men won’t take the hint. This is a persistent problem. Some males actually believe that feminism is about equality. They think, “Well, I believe in equality, so I’m a feminist, too,” and then intrude themselves into the lives of feminists like Miriam Mogilevsky, who don’t want to be anywhere near a man, ever. Merely being in the presence of a male is “exhausting” to feminists. They have made abundantly clear what feminism requires of men:

A. Shut up;
and
B. Go away.

As soon as a woman indicates that she is a feminist, this should be a cue to any man to avoid her as much as possible. No male should ever speak to a feminist. In fact, the feminist expects males to be completely silent in her presence. How much more clearly can Miriam Mogilevsky make her point? Everything that men do is annoying to her. Attempts by males to befriend Ms. Mogilevsky are unwelcome. She is a feminist, and therefore dislikes having to share the planet with males, because of “the fear and anger with which some men respond to women’s emotional unavailability.” Ms. Mogilevsky is a feminist, and therefore has no emotion toward men except disgust and contempt. Why can’t these men understand what Miriam Mogilevsky is trying to tell them?

Emotional labor is reassuring my partner over and over that yes, I love him, yes, I find him attractive, yes, I truly want to be with him, because he will not do the work of developing his self-esteem and relies on me to bandage those constantly-reopening wounds. Emotional labor is letting my partner know that I didn’t like what he did sexually last night, because he never asked me first if I wanted to do that. Emotional labor is reassuring him that, no, it’s okay, I’m not mad, I just wanted him to know for next time, yes, of course I love him, no, this doesn’t mean I’m not attracted to him, I’m just not interested in that sort of sex. Emotional labor is not being able to rely on him to reassure me that it’s not my fault that I didn’t like the sex, because this conversation has turned into my reassuring him, again. . . .
Emotional labor is managing my male partners’ feelings around how often we have sex, and soothing their disappointment when they expected to have sex (even though I never said we would) and then didn’t, and explaining why I didn’t want to have sex this time, and making sure we “at least cuddle a little before bed” even though after all of this, to be quite honest, the last thing I f–king want is to touch him.

Miriam Mogilevsky does not like sex with men, because she does not like men, and she is tired of doing the “emotional labor” of pretending otherwise. She is tired of men with low self-esteem who expect her to pretend she is capable of “love” for a male and being “attracted” to a male, although no male “partner” ever does anything right.

Guys, what part of shut up and go away don’t you understand?

Emotional labor is when my partners decide they don’t want to be in a relationship with me anymore, but rather than directly communicating this to me, they start ignoring me or being mean for weeks until I have to ask what’s going on, hear that “I guess I’m just not into you anymore,” and then have to be the one to suggest breaking up. For extra points, then I have to comfort them about the breakup.

This is “because most men have been intentionally deprived of the language and tools to even think about these sorts of issues,” Ms. Mogilevsky complains of her ex-boyfriends. Even when the guy takes the hint — shut up and go away — he does it wrong.

Miriam Mogilevsky is 24 years old. She got her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Northwestern University in 2013 and recently completed a master’s degree in social work at Columbia University. She takes a sadistic pleasure in inspiring fear in men, and evidently believes that what the world needs most is more feminist lectures from Miriam Mogilevsky. She is a walking stereotype of the self-important narcissistic Millennial who expects us to be impressed that she is “passionate about social justice, feminism, sexuality [and] atheism,” as if there weren’t at least 10,000 young feminists exactly like her on Tumblr.

They are a dime a dozen, these fervent young progressives, providing an endless supply of “social justice” that far exceeds anyone’s actual demand. One wonders why they bother to go to college at all, as no special training is necessary to whine and complain, which is all they ever do. When they get out into the real world and discover how hard it is to make a living, they’ll whine and complain about that. Miriam Mogilevsky whines and complains that men are craving her companionship, compelling her to engage in “relationships” in which she is expected to perform “emotional labor.” And this a social injustice.

Guys: Learn to take a hint. Learn to walk away.

If a woman tells you she is a feminist, say nothing and walk away.

No feminist wants to hear what a man has to say, and life is too short to waste your time taking to feminists. Just walk away.

Leave feminists alone, and then they can complain about that.

Cleveland force has previously described how officers gave woman ‘strong words of advice’ – but no charges were brought

A man falsely accused of rape has not made a formal complaint about the decision not to charge his “victim”, police say.

It comes after a woman was given strong words of advice by officers after she claimed she was sexually assaulted on Kenilworth Road in Billingham late last month.

Cleveland Police said the woman had not been charged after it emerged the incident never happened.

The 32-year-old man arrested was released with no further action to be taken.

Since the allegation was made, comments have been issued on social networking sites including Reddit.

One poster wrote: “I have just complained to Cleveland Police, others should as well. Men are not being protected from false allegation.

“There are approximately 22,000 reports of false allegation made to the police each year in the UK.

“The CPS should be prosecuting thousands of women for making a false allegation.”

A spokeswoman for the force said Cleveland Police Professional Standards Department formally records complaints from those people who were directly involved in a particular incident, those adversely affected by an incident or those that witnessed it.

“These standards are set nationally by the Independent Police Complaints Commission statutory guidance for recording complaints,” she added.

“Cleveland Police currently have no complaint formally recorded in relation to this specific incident.”
