Everyone knows that becoming a feminist makes a woman less marriageable, more crass and generally just unpleasant to be around. But does it also make them uglier? Readers have been asking, so I delved into the science to find out.
Certainly, feminists in the public sphere have acquired a reputation for being brazen about their unconventional looks. The cult of “body positivity” has encouraged many young women to embrace excess weight. Feminist writers like Lindy West celebrate their fatness, while Lena Dunham has made a career out of looking wobbly and horrible.
While the sisterhood might not condemn women for piling on the pounds, men definitely do. But the weight gain, bizarre hair colour, piercings and “genderqueer” fashion trends in feminism aren’t, it seems to me, enough on their own to explain why women who strongly identify as feminists are so often either physically unappealing or mistaken for men.
There’s a persuasive line of reasoning that suggests women who are physically unattractive are more likely to have progressive politics, give up on blokes and retreat into feminism in the first place. (The rule doesn’t hold for men.) Even liberal bloggers like West admit that conservative girls are hotter, and, crucially, that liberal women tend to have more masculine features. By way of example, here’s Hanna Rosin, author of The End of Men
Valerie Solanas, founder of the Society for Cutting Up Men and author of the SCUM Manifesto — and the woman who shot Andy Warhol — falls into the aforesaid “genderqueer” category.
This may explain why so many angry, lesbianic placard-wavers look like they’ve been hit by a bus. As West puts it: “I can imagine that liberalism actively attracts people who are shut out of that old-timey paradigm… The women who can’t ‘pass’ for hot are forced to consider why.”
We still haven’t answered the question, though, as to whether a particular philosophical or political position can change how sexually attractive you are, if, say, you come to it later in life. So here goes.
What you probably don’t know is that under certain circumstances behaviour can affect your hormonal levels. Hormones are powerful substances: they are the chemicals which tell our bodies how to express gender, and which gender to express.
It turns out that adopting aggressive, masculine postures and developing combative psychological reflexes can boost testosterone levels by significant percentages. In many cases, women with a predilection for activism have high testosterone levels in the first place: consider the “high-T jawline” so many feminist journalists, newsreaders and actresses share. Radical feminist blogger Amanda Marcotte has a classic example of this.
Increased testosterone also makes you leaner, so jaws can appear more defined. And of course the male hormone increases acne and promotes baldness, while estrogen clears the skin, adds collagen and generally makes a person look fresher and more youthful.
So the research suggests that relentlessly assertive women, particularly women in positions of authority, are unwittingly throwing their hormones out of whack. Higher testosterone levels can produce dramatic changes, most noticeably to a woman’s face. Muscle mass and distribution can shift and hair grows faster and more thickly.
There’s no clear evidence on whether prolonged increases in testosterone over time can change the growth trajectory of bones enough to produce changes in face shape. But if true, it would go some way to explaining Guardian blogger Jessica Valenti’s dramatic transformation in the last ten years. Transgender forums seem to concur that there’s no real change to bone structure but that testosterone does lead to changes in fat distribution
High-testosterone women are more likely to get guts because it’s estrogen that controls fat around the waist, hips and rear. Lena Dunham’s body shape — and perhaps her behaviour — would appear to be a result of very high testosterone.
As for the other changes women go through when they discover you can make a career out of hating men, well. I can’t explain why it seems as though feminist’s eyes go glassy and dead the longer they are incentivised to behave like bros while sloshing about in misandry for pay. I’m sure an entertaining gallery could be assembled showing how the process takes its toll; perhaps a reader can oblige.
But the power of hormones to radically alter physiology is well-documented. Trans patients attest to the extraordinary shifts in appearance and even personality that can be brought about by changes in hormone levels — as do older women on hormone replacement therapy.
Here’s a dirty secret feminists like to sweep under the carpet: there are objective standards for beauty, and some of them are shared by both sexes. Symmetry is the most obvious and the most commonly cited. But there are also differences in priorities between the sexes that seem to hold across cultures: men are more visual animals, for instance.
That means heterosexual men, even socially conditioned liberal metrosexuals with nice loft apartments in Brooklyn, are reluctant to approach even well-groomed women over a certain size, which is perhaps why Lindy West appears to have married a nancy boy.
Lena Dunham has styled herself as the entertainment industry’s high priestess of defiant ugliness, turning her laziness and mannish demeanour into a virtue. But ordinary women who take West and Dunham at face value, and let themselves go, chop their hair off, dress like a dude and stop bothering to depilate, find it nearly impossible to secure an attractive, well-adjusted, financially secure boyfriend.
Irresponsible celebrity feminists tells women, in a constant orgy of affirmation, to love themselves no matter what their size or shape and that no matter what they look like, they are beautiful and “real.” These supposed role models also encourage women to swarm into traditionally male occupations and hobbies to prove that women are just as capable of being computer programmers or lumberjacks as men.
Such advice is selfish, cruel, and a lie. In fact, if you want to attract the attention of a high-value potential husband, you’re much better off doing things that will make you pretty — spending time with puppies, children and flowers and listening to Mariah Carey ballads — rather than indulging in today’s dykeish and profanity-laced female empowerment culture.
So, on balance, the evidence suggests that rather than feminism producing ugliness, it’s less attractive women who are drawn to feminism, although hormones may play a part over the longer term. Still, if feminist activism, the last resort of the unfuckable, threatens to accelerate the ageing process, thicken the caterpillar on your top lip and isolate you even further from men… well, why take the risk?
BEIJING–Mainland China launched two new satellites into space Saturday, state media reported, as it builds a homegrown satellite navigation system to rival the U.S.’s Global Positioning System.
A rocket carrying the satellites was launched from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in southwestern Sichuan province at 8:29 p.m. (1229 GMT), the Xinhua News Agency said.
The satellites are the 18th and 19th launched by the mainland as it develops its domestic navigation system Beidou, or Compass. They take the total number launched this year to three.
Beidou is currently centered on the Asia-Pacific region but is slated to cover the whole world by 2020.
“The successful launch marks another solid step in building Beidou into a navigation system with global coverage,” the satellite launch center was quoted by Xinhua as saying.
Beidou — named after the Chinese term for the plough or Big Dipper constellation — was announced in 2012, joining the U.S.’s GPS, Russia’s GLONASS and European Union’s Galileo.
It is already used by several Asian countries including Laos, Pakistan and Thailand.
The new satellites will be deployed in “testing a new type of navigation signaling and inter-satellite links” as well as providing navigation services, Xinhua said.
The Beidou system is currently used for civilian services such as navigation and messaging, as well as in the transportation and weather forecasting sectors. It also has military applications.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has its foundation in the terrorist organization Hamas. It has been named as a co-conspirator by the U.S. government for two federal trials dealing with the financing of Hamas, and it is recognized as an international terrorist group by the government of United Arab Emirates (UAE). Given this information, how is it possible that one of this group’s leaders, Nezar Hamze, could be considered for a position at one of the most prominent Sheriff’s offices in the United States? However, that is exactly what has happened.
The Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) is the largest fully accredited Sheriff’s office in the nation. As such, having the title of Sheriff comes with much fanfare and responsibility. The current Sheriff is Scott Israel; he was elected to office in November 2012. As Sheriff, Israel has made it a point to reach out to diverse crowds, including those who could be considered enemies of the U.S. and her allies.
Broward Sheriff Scott Israel’s 2015 radical Muslim tour began this past January, when he posed for photos with Sofian Abdelaziz Zakkout and a member of Zakkout’s Miami-based AMANA group at a local mosque. Zakkout is a big supporter of Hamas. On his Facebook page, one can find Hamas logos and photos of Hamas militants and leaders, including Hamas founders Ahmed Yassin and Abdel Aziz al-Rantisi and deceased Hamas bomb maker Yehiya Ayyash.
In July 2014, Zakkout organized a pro-Hamas rally held in Downtown Miami, where the crowd chanted loudly a number of anti-Jewish and pro-Hamas slogans. Zakkout is shown on video with a huge grin on his face, as his mob repeatedly screams, “We are Hamas.” Following the rally, Zakkout wrote in Arabic on his Facebook page, “Thank God, every day we conquer the American Jews like our conquests over the Jews of Israel!”
Zakkout is also a big fan of white supremacist and former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke. Zakkout has posted different links on his Facebook site to Duke videos , including a link to Duke’s official YouTube page. In July 2010, the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) condemned Zakkout’s group AMANA for featuring what it called a “vicious” David Duke video on its website. In the video, which is titled ‘No War for Israel in Iran – Keep Americans Safe,’ Duke rails against Jews and is shown shaking hands with then-Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
The next stop for Sheriff Israel, on his tour, was the Islamic Foundation of South Florida (IFSF), for a June Ramadan Iftar meal. The event was sponsored by Emerge USA, an innocuously named Islamist lobbying and advocacy group that attempts to dupe politicians into attending its functions by seducing them with a “Muslim vote.”
Like he did with Zakkout, Sheriff Israel posed for photos, one of which has him standing alongside Mayor of Sunrise, Florida Mike Ryan and the co-founder and co-chairman of Emerge, Khurrum Wahid.
Wahid, a South Florida attorney, has spent years representing high-profile Muslim terrorists. They include: Rafiq Sabir, who received a 25-year prison sentence for conspiring to provide material support to al-Qaeda; Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, who was given a life sentence for being part of al-Qaeda and for plotting to assassinate President George W. Bush; Sami al-Arian who spent time in prison (and was later deported) for his activities within Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ); and Hafiz Khan, a Miami imam who received 25 years for shipping $50,000 to the Taliban explicitly to murder American troops overseas.
According to the Miami New Times, Wahid himself was placed on a federal terrorist watch list in 2011.
Another photo from the Iftar featured Sheriff Israel and IFSF Events Coordinator Abdur Rahman al-Ghani. Al-Ghani’s Facebook page is littered with anti-American, anti-Israel, anti-Jewish and Islamic supremacist language and images. In March 2013, al-Ghani posted on his Facebook site a photo of a group of American rabbis, who were meeting with President George W. Bush in the Oval Office to discuss Judaism, with the caption, “Every President has end [sic] up like this. This is the power of Zionism in our U.S. Government.” In December 2012, he wrote on Facebook, “Zionist/Israelis are not holy people. They are demonic and the most evil on earth.”
In April 2012, al-Ghani posted on his Facebook page a graphic depicting an American flag, stating “Worlds [sic] Number One Terrorist Organization.” In March 2012, he posted a graphic stating, “ISLAM WILL DOMINATE THE WORLD.” He wrote next to it, “Yes, Allah (SWT) has Decreed [sic] we will overtake the world in numbers…” And in February 2012, al-Ghani posted a graphic of the CIA logo spattered in blood with a caption that read in part, “You wipe out the organization that is solely responsible for every terrorist act committed since it’s [sic] creation. You wipe out the CIA.”
Next to the photo of Sheriff Israel with al-Ghani, Emerge wrote, “Thanks again to IFSF and Abdur Rahman al-Ghani.”
The third stop of Sheriff Israel’s radical Muslim tour, which took place this month, led him to the Darul Uloom Mosque, located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. Darul Uloom has ties to a number of high-profile al-Qaeda terrorists.
“Dirty Bomber” Jose Padilla was a student at Darul Uloom. His teacher was the current imam at the mosque, Maulana Shafayat Mohamed. Padilla was sentenced to 21 years in prison for providing material support to terrorists and for conspiracy to murder, kidnap and maim individuals overseas.
Now-deceased al-Qaeda commander and al-Qaeda Global Operations Chief Adnan el-Shukrijumah was a prayer leader at the mosque. In 2010, Shukrijumah was indicted by New York authorities for plotting suicide bombings in the city’s subway system. His father, Gulshair el-Shukrijumah, who was a translator for the spiritual leader of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, “Blind Shaikh” Omar Abdel-Rahman, taught classes at Darul Uloom. One of Gulshair’s students, Imran Mandhai, was sentenced to twelve years in prison for plotting to blow up strategic targets in South Florida. Mandhai was deported to Pakistan this past May.
It has further been alleged that one of the 19 hijackers from the September 11 attacks prayed at Darul Uloom.
The official website of Darul Uloom contains a photo of its imam, Shafayat Mohamed, shaking hands with now-deceased bigot Ahmed Deedat. Deedat, author of the book ‘CRUCIFIXION OR CRUCI-FICTION?’ was infamous for going around the world giving lectures on how Christianity is a false religion. In his book, ‘Muhammad the natural successor to Christ,’ he repeatedly refers to homosexuals as “sodomites.” He states, “Euphemistically they call them ‘gays’ a once beautiful word meaning – happy and joyous – now perverted!”
The photo of Shafayat Mohamed with Deedat, whom Shafayat Mohamed said he “had a good relationship” with, was taken in Durban, South Africa, at what was then named the Bin Laden Center. Deedat, who according to the New York Times was “a vocal anti-Semite and ardent backer of Osama bin Laden,” personally received millions of dollars from Bin Laden for the center.
Shafayat Mohamed, himself, was thrown off a number of boards in Broward County for his outspokenness against homosexuals. In February 2005, an article written by him was published on the Darul Uloom website, entitled ‘Tsunami: Wrath of God,’ claiming that homosexual sex caused the 2004 Indonesian tsunami. He stated, “I have been pondering over the reasons for the recent Tsunami, ever since the incident took place… a time when thousands would have been enjoying themselves during the holidays in the ‘GAY PARADISE’… [A]fter days of pondering, I was able to find a major similarity with the Tsunami and Sodom & Gomorrah.”
Sheriff Israel arrived at Darul Uloom to deliver a Ramadan message to the crowd; he did so, before being warmly embraced by the imam, Shafayat Mohamed. But the real message was sent by the individual who was introducing the Sheriff. It was Deputy Sheriff Nezar Hamze. This was an alarming and surreal surprise, as Hamze has been a leader of a local chapter of the Hamas-associated CAIR for the past five years. Hamze is the Regional Operations Director of CAIR-Florida. Previously, he served as CAIR-Florida’s Executive Director.
CAIR was established in June 1994 as being part of the American Palestine Committee, an umbrella organization acting as a terrorist enterprise run by then-global Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzook. Marzook, at the time, was based in the U.S and currently operates out of Egypt as a spokesman for Hamas. In 2007 and 2008, amidst two federal trials, the U.S. government named CAIR a co-conspirator in the raising of millions of dollars for Hamas.
Under a graphic of the World Trade Center in flames, CAIR posted to its national website a link to the Hamas charity, Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development (HLF), asking its followers to donate money. The group also asked its followers to donate to the al-Qaeda charity, Global Relief Foundation (GRF).
In November 2014, just eight months ago, along with ISIS, al-Qaeda and Boko Haram, CAIR was named a terrorist organization by United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Hamze has his own anti-social and dangerous issues, apart from being a CAIR leader.
In December 2010, outside a fundraiser for then-Member of Parliament of the United Kingdom, George Galloway, being held at the Islamic Center of South Florida (ICOSF), in Pompano Beach, Hamze was caught on video repeatedly refusing to denounce Hamas, when given numerous chances to do so.
As well, in June 2007, after his cousin, Abdelaziz Bilal Hamze, murdered a woman, running her over with his minivan, Nezar tried to make excuses for his cousin. Abdelaziz had dragged her body for several miles down the road – her body parts scattered throughout – and then attempted to flee the U.S. to Lebanon, where the Hamze family is from. Nezar was quoted by the media, saying, while his cousin “made some bad decisions,” he “may have been a little threatened.”
All of this would seem to make someone like Nezar Hamze ineligible to serve in any capacity within law enforcement and would render his designation as Deputy Sheriff untenable. Yet, there was Hamze, at Darul Uloom, in full uniform with firearm at his side.
During his talk, Sheriff Israel said of Hamze that he was a “friend” and a “phenomenal Deputy Sheriff.” He said that Hamze was with him because they are “on the same mission,” that they are “like-minded,” and because, “as a man who studies Islam and as a Muslim, he’s gonna find out information that we can’t. He’s gonna be able to bring information back to the community and take information from the community and bring to us.”
Can Sheriff Israel, the first Jewish Sheriff in Broward County, seriously believe that Nezar Hamze – a man who has spent years as a leader of a fanatic Muslim organization; a man who repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas when given numerous chances; a man who tried to make excuses for his murderer cousin, after his cousin had willfully ran over a woman, dragged her body for several miles, and then tried to flee the country – should serve as a Deputy Sheriff in one of the most prominent Sheriff’s offices in the nation?!!
By employing Nezar Hamze, Sheriff Scott Israel has compromised not only the Broward Sheriff’s office, but the security of the entire county and by extension U.S. national security. And with the intelligence information made available to someone in Hamze’s position and the misleading information Hamze has exhibited he is capable of providing, who knows how much damage this could cause!
If the situation is not corrected and Nezar Hamze is not dismissed from his position immediately, Sheriff Israel should resign from office immediately.
If you wish to contact Sheriff Israel, you can do so by sending an e-mail to: firstname.lastname@example.org, or you can call the Broward Sheriff’s Office, at 954-764-4357. Please be respectful in any and all communications with this office.
- Marie Black, 34, of Norwich, found guilty of running a paedophile ring
- Ten people – including six women – stood trial for the child sex abuse
- Black denied 26 offences but was convicted of 23 of them including rape, conspiracy to rape and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity
- She played an instrumental role using children as ‘sexual play-things’
A female rapist has been found guilty of running a paedophile ring which subjected five young children to sexual and physical abuse over more than a decade.
Ten people – including six women – were on trial accused of the child sex abuse which is said to have centred around Marie Black, 34, of Norwich.
She denied 26 offences at Norwich Crown Court but today, after 19 hours of deliberations and a three-month trial, the jury convicted her of all but three counts.
She was found guilty of offences including rape, conspiracy to rape and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Black sobbed uncontrollably in the dock as the verdicts were delivered.
Michael Rogers, 53, from Romford, Essex, was also found guilty of 14 counts including cruelty, rape and inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.
Jason Adams, 43, from Norwich, was found guilty of 13 similar counts.
Carol Stadler, 59, from Norwich, was found guilty of assault causing actual bodily harm but cleared of nine other charges, including serious sexual assaults.
The remaining defendants – Anthony Stadler, 63, Nicola Collins, 36, Andrew Collins, 52, Judith Fuller, 31, Denise Barnes, 43, and Kathleen Adams, 85, all from Norwich – were cleared of all counts.
Prosecutor Angela Rafferty QC said Black, previously known as Marie Adams, played an instrumental role in using the five children as ‘sexual play-things’.
The abuse, which is said to have happened in and around Norwich and London, included forcing the children to have sex with one another.
Obama has changed the Oath of Allegiance for new citizens. They do not need to declare that they will defend the USA.
Obama is transparent now. The next 18 months are going to be hell for this country.
Why would we want anyone becoming a citizen of this country who did not want to defend it? Obama will ensure their voting rights — to vote for traitors like him — so his “radical transformation” (more like takedown) towards leftist/Islamic totalitarianism continues.
Obama Administration Strips Requirement to Defend The United States From Citizenship Oath
Katie Pavlich | Townhall, Jul 22, 2015
The United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has “clarified” requirements for individuals becoming naturalized citizens by stripping out the requirement of defending the United States through military service.
“Effective July 21, 2015, new guidance (PA-2015-001) in the USCIS Policy Manual clarifies the eligibility requirements for modifications to the Oath of Allegiance. Reciting the Oath is part of the naturalization process. Candidates for citizenship normally declare that they will “bear arms on behalf of the United States” and “perform noncombatant service in the Armed Forces of the United States” when required by the law. A candidate may be eligible to exclude these two clauses based on religious training and belief or a conscientious objection,” an email from USCIS clarifying the requirements states (bolding is mine).
The new guidance:
-May be eligible for modifications based on religious training and belief, or conscientious objection arising from a deeply held moral or ethical code.
-Is not required to belong to a specific church or religion, follow a particular theology or belief, or to have had religious training in order to qualify.
-May submit, but is not required to provide, an attestation from a religious or other type of organization, as well as other evidence to establish eligibility.
Although the U.S. has a voluntary military without a draft, meaning citizens are not currently required by law to serve, these new exemptions are highly alarming should the country need to call on its citizens for defense in the future. The United States has always allowed for exceptions to combat based on religious convictions, the Quakers are one example. However, Quakers have found different roles, i.e. as medics, inside the military to aid in the country’s defense. This rule change allows naturalized citizens to refuse service altogether.
It should be noted the Islamic terrorist Mohammad Youssuf Abdulazeez, who killed four Marines and a Navy sailor in Chattanooga last week, was a naturalized citizen.
American hip-hop artist Kendrick Lamar is the latest artist to face a lawsuit over alleged plagiarism. On this occasion the claim against Lamar isn’t that he has ripped off someone else’s music. It is Lamar’s use of a photograph on the cover of one of his single releases that is at issue. The photograph in question was used on the cover of Lamar’s single “The Blacker The Berry,” released in February from Kendrick’s To Pimp A Butterfly album.
According to Pitchfork, photographer Giordano Cipriani took the photograph used on the cover of Lamar’s single during a trip to Africa in 2011. The picture features a mother breast-feeding two babies, and Cipriani alleges that Lamar has used the image without his permission and that he failed to license the image.
Hot New Hip Hop report that Cipriani filed a lawsuit with the New York Federal Court on July 10. Cipriani has asked for an injunction to stop Lamar from using his image. He is also suing Lamar, Top Dawg Entertainment, Interscope Records, and Aftermath Entertainment for damages resulting from the unauthorized use of the image.
According to Business Standard, Cipriani makes his living as a freelance photographerand claims that Lamar, his record label, and his management company failed to pay him for the image and failed to license the shot. Cipriani is suing for $150,000 from Lamar for each time the image was used and has also asked for his legal fees to be paid by Lamar. It seems that, as well as using the image on the artwork for the single, Lamar also used it for promotional purposes on YouTube, on his website, and on his Facebook page. If the judge were to find in Cipriani’s favor Lamar could easily be hit with a bill for $750,000.
The issue of plagiarism in the music industry is continually hitting the headlines this year, and Kendrick Lamar is far from the first person to be hit by such a lawsuit. Earlier this year British soul singer Sam Smith was sued by Tom Petty who claimed that Smith’s song “Stay With Me” sounded too similar to Petty’s hit “I Won’t Break Down.”
Lamar’s case isn’t even the first to highlight difficulties between musicians and photographers. In recent weeks there have been high profile spats between musicians and bands over the use of photographs. For example The Guardian reports today that Le Soleilsent a cartoonist rather than a photographer to a Foo Fighters show because the band asked photographers to sign a contract assigning copyright of the image to the band. By tradition, the copyright on photographs belongs to the photographer as soon as the shutter is pressed.
Anybody know the name of this woman and have a picture of her? put them in the comment section below
A mother of three who gave birth to a child fathered by a 12-year-old boy she had been sexually abusing for more than two years has been jailed for six years.
A County Court judge, who cannot be named, said on Monday the woman had behaved in an abhorrent and shocking way when abusing the vulnerable boy for her own emotional and physical needs.
The judge said the woman’s moral culpability was very high given she was supposed to have been looking after the boy for his mother when she had to work early, and had been in a position of trust and friendship.
“The protection of children is an extremely important matter,” the judge told the woman when jailing her for six years with a non-parole period of three years and six months and placing her on the sex offenders register for life.
The woman, 40, gave birth to a daughter in May last year when her victim was 14.
The judge said the woman had taken the boy’s adolescence away from him and while he clearly loved his daughter, he was having difficulties adjusting to fatherhood and what had happened to him.
She said the boy was angry and confused, his relationship with his mother had deteriorated and he should not have to deal with these issues at such a young age.
The baby girl is now being cared for by the boy and his mother but the Department of Human Services is expected to take her for weekly prison visits to see the woman.
The judge said the victim’s mother was doing her best to support her son and his baby daughter despite feeling betrayed.
The woman had been married and living in suburban Melbourne with her three children when her daughter became friends with the victim when they were both 11.
The woman became jealous of her daughter’s relationship with the victim and began taking him to and from school when she was having marital problems.
The woman, who separated from her husband in January 2013, first had unprotected sex with the boy when he was 12 and in Year 7 and she was 36.
It was the boy’s first sexual experience and he later told police they had unprotected sex more than 20 times over the next two years, including in her car and when camping in the backyard.
The woman, who pleaded guilty to one count of persistent sexual abuse of a child under 16 between April 2012 and May 2014, claimed she was ashamed, embarrassed and guilt-ridden at what she had done.
She told psychologist Professor James Ogloff she was sexually naive and did not realise the boy was old enough to father a child.
The woman said she was attracted to the boy because he was sexually maturing but denied being attracted to children.
Professor Ogloff found the woman had not been acting in a predatory way or been driven by a deviant sexual desire, but instead had allowed her feelings of care and nurturing for the boy to develop into a sexual relationship.
The psychologist said the woman had been a supportive and caring parent with no prior convictions who failed to recognise her feelings for the boy were completely inappropriate.
Professor Ogloff did not believe the woman suffered from a paedophilic disorder and was unlikely to reoffend.
Questions about gender identity and sexual orientation have been added to admissions applications used by the University of California system, including no less than six choices for students when checking off their “gender identity.”
One new question posed to those seeking admittance to the system – which educates 233,000 students enrolled in 10 campuses statewide – is “How do you describe yourself? (Mark one answer).”
The choices are: “male; female; trans male/trans man; trans female/trans woman; gender queer/gender non-conforming; and different identity.”
The application also asks “what sex were you assigned at birth, such as on an original birth certificate?” and the two choices are: male or female.
The questions are voluntary and responses to the questions will not impact admissions decisions, Shelly Meron, a spokesperson for the UC Office of the President, told The College Fix via email.
Feminists are going crazy about a non-existent “campus rape epidemic.” Meanwhile, in the Democrat-run city of Detroit:
The search is on for multiple men who are accused of robbing two young couples at gunpoint in Detroit. Police say the men then gang-raped the women while forcing the male victims to watch.
The two attacks happened two hours apart on Thursday night, in the area of the 13000 block of West McNichols on Detroit’s northwest side. In each case, the couples were out walking when the attackers approached them, armed with handguns.
“It’s horrifying,” police Deputy Chief Charles Fitzgerald said.
Police say six men took part in the first attack with all six of them raping the woman.
“One of the men produced a gun, pointed it at both victims and advised them to go to an alley. Both victims complied. They were forced to the ground. The male victim was forced to watch the female victim get sexually assaulted. Their clothing was taken.”
The second attack happened about two hours later and was almost identical to the first, except this time, four men took part.
Like in the first attack, the men walked up to a young couple and one of them showed a handgun and ordered the couple into an alley. Police say the attackers also took the couple’s clothes and raped the woman. . . .
Investigators are trying to determine if the attacks are linked to a July 11 attack in the same area in which two men robbed a couple at gunpoint and raped the woman.

Property records show the mosque attended by the terrorist who killed US soldiers at a base in Chattanooga, Tenn., is affiliated with the same Islamic group as the mosques patronized by the Boston marathon bombers and the 9/11 hijackers who attacked the Pentagon.
Yet federal investigators have dismissed any possibility that the Tennessee mosque was a source of radicalization or support for the terrorist, Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez.
The trustee of the Islamic Society of Greater Chattanooga, like the Boston and Virginia mosques attended by other terrorists, is the North American Islamic Trust.
In 2007, the Justice Department designated NAIT as an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terrorist financing case in America history, US v. Holy Land Land Foundation, which resulted in convictions and imprisonment of several US-based Hamas terrorist leaders. Current NAIT chairman Gaddoor Saidi also appears on the government’s co-conspirator list.
Court records detail money flowing through NAIT financial accounts to Hamas. In the same exhibits from the trial, the Justice Department lists NAIT and Saidi among “members of the US Muslim Brotherhood,” alongside NAIT’s parent the Islamic Society of North America — from which the Islamic Society of Greater Chattanooga derives its name.
While NAIT maintains its innocence, its repeated appeals to the government to expunge its name from the co-conspirators list have failed. A federal judge ruled there is “ample evidence” tying NAIT to Hamas and the Brotherhood.
The Muslim Brotherhood is a worldwide jihadist movement whose credo is “Jihad is our way, and death for the glory of Allah is our greatest ambition.”
The ethnic-Palestinian Abdulazeez expressed similar ambitions in his Internet writings, in which he dreamed of fighting and dying in “jihad for the sake of Allah.”
In 2009, when Islamic Society leaders were raising money from Chattanooga Muslims for construction of their new mosque, they invoked the names of major Muslim Brotherhood figures — including the group’s spiritual leader Yusuf al-Qaradawi, who once issued a fatwa calling on Muslims to kill US soldiers in Iraq.
Qaradawi’s name shows up in a mosque PowerPoint presentation exhorting Muslim faithful to donate “in the cause of Allah.”
Abdulazeez and his family were longtime members of the Islamic Society, which forces women to pray separately from men and wear head coverings.
Contradicting recent claims they had “minimal interactions” with the 24-year-old jihadist, Facebook postings show mosque leaders once held a well-attended graduation celebration for him.
Friends say Abdulazeez regularly prayed at the Islamic Society in the months leading up to his attack on two US military sites.
The current mosque leadership is directly connected to NAIT.
The Islamic Society of Greater Chattanooga grew out of a small mosque founded by NAIT in 1997, the original deed reveals.
“NAIT bought the property in August of 1997 from St. John United Methodist,” said Sheldon Wright, deputy clerk for the Hamilton County, Tenn., register of deeds.
In 2007, the land for the new mosque was purchased by the “Islamic Society of Greater Chattanooga Inc.,” which lists an address for NAIT agent Arif Shafi. Shafi that same year filed the articles of incorporation for the Islamic Society of Greater Chattanooga. The state charter lists Shafi as both the “registered agent” for the mosque and one of its “incorporators.”
Then, in 2013, NAIT sold the old mosque, Masjid Annour, moving it to the new Islamic Society site. Shafi is represented in the transaction as “the authorized agent of the North American Islamic Trust.”
Attempts to reach Shafi for comment were unsuccessful. Other Islamic Society officials have asserted the mosque preaches peace and that they saw no signs that Abdulazeez was involved in “extremism.”
This is a familiar refrain. Americans have heard the same line from leaders of other mosques controlled by NAIT after their members, too, carried out acts of terrorism. Among them:
- Islamic Society of Boston, where a dozen terrorists have worshipped, including the marathon bombers Dzhokhar Tsarnaev and Tamerlan Tsarnaev and most recently the ISIS-inspired terrorist who plotted to behead Boston cops.
- Islamic Community Center of Phoenix, where worshippers included two ISIS terrorists who attacked a Dallas-area event and planned to shoot up the Super Bowl.
- Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center, where some of the 9/11 hijackers worshipped and got help obtaining IDs and housing, following on the heels of the Fort Hood shooter and several other terrorists who have attended the mosque just outside Washington.
More interested in outreach, authorities overlooked these disturbing patterns.
After 9/11, the Pentagon even invited the Dar al-Hijrah cleric, who ministered to the very hijackers who torpedoed the military headquarters, to an interfaith luncheon. That same cleric, Anwar al-Awlaki, would go on to head al Qaeda’s operations in Yemen before a drone-fired missile finally caught up to him.
Muslim Brotherhood archives uncovered last decade in an FBI raid of a terrorist suspect’s basement in a Washington suburb list NAIT as one of the movement’s key fronts in the US. They also describe its Islamic centers as “bases” from which to train and deploy its “battalions” in jihad.
NAIT holds title to more than 300 mosques and has helped finance more than 500 Islamic centers in America. Imams insist that none of them preach hate. But is it enough for law enforcement to just take their word for it?
We can’t let political correctness spare these mosques due scrutiny.

Imam Mazin Abdul Adhim, a senior cleric of Hizb ut-Tahrir – Canada, recently called upon the Muslim Ummah (Nation) to unite in order to establish the global Islamic state, also known by its Arabic name the Caliphate.
The London, Ontario-based Imam vehemently opposes the Caliphate founded by ISIS in Iraq and Syria and does not accept the authority of its self proclaim Calif Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi. Rather he advocates for a new Caliphate that will implement the Islamic Law word for word and extend its authority over all the Muslim lands.
In a video clip on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr (July 17, 2015) at the end of the month of Ramadan, Imam Abdul Adhim explained that the Muslim Ummah is one body, and all its woes in the different parts of split up Muslim lands are originated only from the lack of a home for Islam and the absence of an Islamic regime that is able to represent the Ummah, as all Muslim regimes today are “traitors” or serving the interest of the “enemy” (the picture of US President Barack Obama was shown in the background.)

“No Muslim should honour the memory of those war criminals by wearing a poppy.” – Mazin Abdul-Adhim
Born in: Canada (Family came from Iraq)
Lives in: London, Ontario
What he’s preaching:
“Any Muslim that wears a poppy or recommends wearing a poppy either is unaware of the history of this Ummah, or they have simply chosen to support their slavers.
No Muslim should honour the memory of those war criminals by wearing a poppy, just as no one would honour a criminal that killed his or her mother and father.
This November 11th, remember the Muslims who died defending the Muslim lands from British and French occupation, and died trying to save the last Khilafah from destruction. Take some time to read up on what really took place in WW1.”
NDP Leader Thomas Mulcair arrived in Mississauga this Tuesday as part of his national election tour in Ontario. During this visit Mulcair met with community leaders and held a press conference.
Nazih Khatatba, a board member of the Palestine House in Mississauga and the editor of Meshwar newspaper, posted a picture of himself with Mulcair, accompanied with the following posting:
“With Thomas Mulcair, the leader of the New Democratic Party (NDP), which constitutes the official opposition in the Canadian Parliament, during a press conference and a tour he made in the Province of Ontario in order to introduce the positions of his party and his team. Surveys indicate the lead of NDP in the parliamentary elections which will be held on October 19. Mulcair has pledged to change the Canadian policy, including towards the Middle East, if his party wins the elections, by espousing more balanced positions regarding the relations with the Palestinians and Israelis and by repealing the Anti Terror Bill C-51 Bill, which grants the security services vast authorities to arrest people and to determine their place of residence.”
In a comment to this posting Khataba added: “I am with NDP and I don’t support the Liberals not because of his [Justin Trudeau] supportive position of homosexuals as this is an issue of a personal right for them, but because the Liberal positions don’t differ much of the Conservatives with regard to the leaning to Israel.”
Khataba, who was one the honoured speakers at the pro Iranian al-Quds Day rally in Toronto earlier this month, is well known of his overt support of the Palestinian struggle against Israel.
In his editorial titled “al-Quds Operation and the Quiet Intifada”, (Issue 118, November 28, 2014, page 5) Khatatba portrayed the 2014 massacre with meat cleavers of 4 rabbis in Jerusalem by Palestinian terrorists as a “courageous and qualitative” operation and justified the Palestinian recent wave of terrorist attacks aimed at Israeli targets. (Howie Rothman, an Israeli Canadian, was seriously wounded after being struck in his head and neck with a cleaver.) The following are excerpts of Khatatba’s editorial:
“The activities of the occupation in al-Quds [Jerusalem] and al-Aqsa [Mosque] in particular, and in the other Palestinian territories in general, during a long period of time posed the Palestinians in front of only one option, which is initiating an attack with several innovated tactics culminated in the courageous and qualitative al-Quds operation, which was carried out on Tuesday [November 18, 2014] by two Palestinians in a Jewish synagogue. This ushers a new phase which should properly be called the phase of the new Fedayeen, fighters who sacrifice their life in battle…
“This [operation] is not included within the term of “terrorism” as is being said by the Americans, the Israelis and their Arab collaborators, but it was carried out as an action of self defence and rescue for the Palestinian people, that recently experienced the severest cases of insult and humiliation by the Zionists, and that what explains the the joy of the Palestinian street following this operation, its euphoria and sense of power…”
On the same day the Jerusalem massacre occurred, Khatatba harshly criticized the Palestinian Authority President, Mahmoud Abbas (Abu Mazen), for issuing an official announcement condemning (however faintly) the attack.
A few days prior to the Jerusalem massacre, Khatatba justified the ‘run-over’ and stabbing attacks against Israeli Jews and overtly supported launching a Palestinian armed intifada (war) against Israel.
In another post Khatatba warned the Israelis: “…the feeling of horror once again dominates the settlers’ [mind]. You will never enjoy life in security and occupation with security, and you will never succeed to cause havoc freely from now on, as for any Palestinian martyr there will be much more [dead] settlers.”
In an another editorial (Meshwar, Issue 108, July 11 2014, page 6) Khatatba thanked Syria for supplying rockets that were launched at Israel from Gaza: “O Minister of Foreign Affairs [John Baird], the Palestinian blood is not cheap and the dignity of the Palestinians cannot be harmed whether in Hebron, Gaza or Mississauga. The resounding response was in all fronts and the Palestinians have the right of self defense and of getting rid of the occupation… and we say it once again: thanks to Syria which transferred its missiles [to Gaza] for attacking Tel Aviv, al-Quds [Jerusalem] and Haifa.”
In an op-ed (Meshwar, Issue 66, November 30, 2012, page 8) Dr. Nazih Khatatba expressed a similar position:
“It is essential to add this achievement (the article was published in advance of the UN recognition of Palestine as a non member observer state) to the triumph that the resistance in Gaza achieved due to its firm endurance and launching of hundreds of rockets on Israeli cities. These rockets dented Israel’s deterrence and created a new reality, that no one can deny, principally the Palestinian leadership, of the role of the popular and military resistance to improve the conditions in any future negotiations with Israel…
“The unyielding fortitude and victory that Gaza achieved would not have materialized without the unconstrained help from Iran, Syria and Hizballah, who provided weaponry, rockets, training and financing…
“There is a dispute as to what is happening now in Syria, which affects relationships in the region, but this must not blind us from seeing the truth. They celebrated with the resistance (in its victory), carried on their backs the difficulties and heavy payload, and always assisted the resistance and supported it. Now, in light of the continued aggression, these factors are continuing with their effort to help Gaza with weapons…
“The Palestinian resistance should speak out loud and clear and not be afraid to express gratitude to Iran, Syria and Hizballah….”
“Al-Aqsa [Mosque] and [the City of] al-Quds [Jerusalem] are in need for mujahideen [jihad fighters], not tourists” was title Khatatba chose for his editorial (Meshwar, Issue. 103, May 2, 2014, p. 5) which criticized the Palestinian Minister of [Islamic] Endowments, Dr. Mahmoud al-Habbash, for supporting normalization with the Israelis.
In his previous tour in Mississauga, NDP leader Thomas Mulcair, met (March 1, 2015) with representatives of the local Arab community, including Monira Kitmitto.
Monira Kitmitto, resident of Oakville, is a member of the Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid (CAIA) and until December 2014 served as a board member of The Palestine House in Mississauga. She has worked in Palestinian refugee camps Lebanon and was an active member in the Union of Palestinian Women. She also attended the pro Iranian al-Quds Day rally in Toronto.
Following the news reports on the massacre carried out by Palestinian terrorists in Jerusalem synagogue in which 4 rabbis were slaughtered with meat cleavers, Monira Kitmitto posted (November 18, 2014) the following on her Facebook page (translated from Arabic):
“In al-Quds like in the Galilee, the [West] Bank, Gaza and the Negev, in spite of the consecutive tragedies there is a spirit of manhood in the air and heroism on the ground. Ghassan and Udai Abu Jamal [the Palestinian cousins who murdered with a handgun, an axe and a knife 4 rabbis and wounded 8 in Jerusalem massacre], you are role model and an example [for others]. Glory to both of you and to all [others who committed similar operations].”
Monira Kitmitto also posted a poster featuring a man brandishing a long knife and the pictures of terrorists with the caption: “[Ghassan and] Udai Abu Jamal, you are the pride of our nation.”
