No charges will be laid against a male officer with the Halifax Regional Police who was accused of sexually assaulting a woman.
Nova Scotia’s Serious Incident Response Team, the group that investigates allegations of police wrongdoing, said the woman filed the complaint in March 2014.
“SIRT interviewed the female the next day. She alleged that a male HRP officer had sexual intercourse with her without her consent,” Ron MacDonald, the director of the Serious Incident Response Team, said in a news release Thursday.
The team conducted a forensic investigation of her phone and interviewed several friends, he said.
“Messages retrieved from the phone, and information from those friends, indicated that the female had in fact consented to the encounter with the officer,” MacDonald said.
“In a followup interview with the female she acknowledged she did consent. As a result, there were no grounds to consider charges against the officer.”
The woman has not been charged with any offence.
“In this case, there was a factor that she had received some advice from her lawyer. When we considered that advice, together with other personal circumstances of the individual, we determined that the public interest did not favour her being charged with the offence,” MacDonald added in an interview with CBC News.
He called it a “learning lesson” for the woman.
And that gentlemen, was one of the most famous scenes from the 1950 musical-comedy film “Annie Get Your Gun,” which was loosely based on the life of a female sharpshooter named Annie Oakley. If you did not watch the video, go back and watch at least the first 30 seconds to grasp the whimsical correlation with the article title and ensuing subject matter.
Observe how the films primary matriarch, the feisty Annie Oakley, would undoubtedly have been considered a role model for the “strong independent woman” archetype. Also take into consideration that this is several decades before the concept (disease) of feminism spread far and wide across western civilization.
I mean just listen to this monster. She is absolutely brimming with “hear me roar” man-hating diatribe with her whole “anything you can do, I can do better” shtick.
The fact that all western women under the age of 45 have been brainwashed into believing their abilities and potential are “just as good as any man” is one of the most laughable blue pill campaigns which has ever been conjured up by the coven of feminist witches. We damn well know that men can (and will) outperform women in anythingthey put their time, effort, training, heart, and soul into.
The greatest imaginable results that a particular field could ever bear witness, will always carry the Y (male) chromosome. It may interest you to know that the Y chromosome is one of the fastest evolving parts of the human genome, which partially explains why men just keep getting better and better at what they do over time.
Last week, a young man named Zack Davies ran amok in a Tesco supermarket in north Wales. He attacked a Sikh, Sarandev Brahambra, with a hammer and a machete, leaving him with serious injuries. This story from the Mirror last week identifies the victim by name but describes him only as “Asian,” without ever saying he was Sikh, and also says: “The attacker was shouting ‘White power’, witnesses said, and detectives have confirmed the assault appeared to be racially-motivated.” So this was presented to the British public as a an attack by one of those right-wing racists that British authorities are much more concerned about than they are about Islamic jihadists, and this attack appeared to substantiate their concern.
There’s just one catch: Zack Davies is a Muslim who calls himself Zak Ali, and who warned on his Facebook page on the morning of his attack in Tesco: “The wrath of Allah is about to come down upon the kaffir, I will have my revenge.” He also posted four Qur’an verses (identifying the suras as “books”) that call for violence against unbelievers:
Book of Al-Anfal, verse 12 ( 8:12) – “I (Allah) will instill terror into the hearts of the unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off.”
5- Book of Al-Baqara, verse 191 (2:191) – “Kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from wherever they drove you out.”
6- Book of Al-Baqara, verse 193 (2:193) – “Fight them on until there is no more tumult and religion becomes that of Allah”
7- Book of Al-Tawba verse 29 (9:29) – “Fight those who do not believe in Allah and the last day… and fight People of the Book, (Christian and Jews) who do not accept the religion of truth (Islam) until they pay tribute (Jizyah tax) by hand, being inferior.”
The fact that Zak Ali is a Muslim who clearly believes in jihad against unbelievers doesn’t mean that this wasn’t a “white power” attack. As I have noted before, neo-Nazis have an affinity for Islam, based on their shared Jew-hatred. The British media, however, has not reported on the jihad aspect of this attack at all. Yet two reports strongly suggested that at least some British journalists know that the perpetrator was a Muslim, and are covering up that fact. The Mirror ran a photo of Zack Davies that appears on Zak Ali’s Facebook page — but it is remotely possible that they got it from somewhere else, and didn’t see Zak Ali’s page. Also, the Daily Post ran a story Monday with the headline, “Mold Tesco attack sparks fear in Sikhs across Wales.” Only Sikhs? But wasn’t this a “white power” attack against an “Asian,” which would mean that Muslims should be just as fearful as Sikhs? But neither this story nor any other says anything about Muslims being afraid after this “white power” assault on an “Asian” — a strong indication that the British media knows that the attacker was a Muslim, and are concealing this from the British public. “Community cohesion” must be preserved at all costs!
Winnipeg’s mayor choked back tears as he began to address the media today about claims by Maclean’s magazine that his city is the most racist in Canada.
“My wife is Ukrainian. I am Métis. I want my boys to be as proud of both those family lines — to be proud of Winnipeg, to be proud of who you are,” Brian Bowman said, surrounded in the city hall foyer by prominent community leaders.
“We have come together to face this head-on as a community,” Bowman added, noting that Winnipeg exists on what is traditional Treaty One territory.
“We have to shine a light on it. Without the light, we can’t see what we’re fighting. We’re not going to end racism tomorrow, but we’re sure as hell going to try.”
When 12-year-old Mallory Merk opted to share a photo of her new hair style—box braids—she had no idea that a racially charged backlash would follow.
Mallory apparently wanted to try something new with her hair. What she didn’t know is that what was “new” to her was a hairstyle strongly associated with African-Americans.
And as social unrest continues over the treatment of African-American lives and culture, this pre-teen unwittingly waded into a debate she was probably too young to truly appreciate.
It’s a tidbit that was largely lost on the many people who attacked her.

Campaigners angered at the paucity of roles for east Asian actors in Hollywood have launched a petition calling for Scarlett Johansson to be dismissed from the forthcoming US remake of classic anime Ghost in the Shell. The campaign on Thepetitionsite.com, which has picked up more than 15,000 signatures, calls for studio DreamWorks to replace her with an actor of Asian origin, and accuses Hollywood of “whitewashing”.
“The original film is set in Japan, and the major cast members are Japanese,” reads the petition. “So why would the American remake star a white actress? The industry is already unfriendly to Asian actors without roles in major films being changed to exclude them. “DreamWorks could be using this film to help provide opportunities for Asian-American actors in a market with few opportunities for them to shine. Please sign the petition asking them to reconsider casting Scarlett Johansson in Ghost in the Shell and select actors who are truer to the cast of the original film!”
Petition organiser Julie Rodriguez also cites a recent survey that suggests that in 2013 Asian characters made up only 4.4 per cent of speaking roles in top-grossing Hollywood films. Johansson looks likely to play a character based on the cyborg detective, Major Motoko Kusanagi, a key figure in the original 1995 Ghost in the Shell film and the comic book series on which it is based. The US actor, whose star has risen following standout turns in Lucy and Marvel Studios’Avengers series of superhero films, was reportedly offered $10m (Dh36 million) to take the role. It is not yet clear how far DreamWorks plans to alter the original, Japanese-set storyline of Ghost in the Shell, although Johansson’s inclusion hints that the action could be transferred to North America.
Hollywood has been criticised in the past for casting white actors in east Asian roles, with M Night Shyamalan’s misfiring 2010 film The Last Airbender a notable recent example. The dubious tradition runs all the way back to 1956 epic The Conqueror, in which John Wayne starred as a suspiciously Midwestern accented Genghis Khan, and 1961’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s, with a bucktoothed Mickey Rooney as the shamefully offensive Japanese caricature, IY Yunioshi. More recently, Ridley Scott’s biblical epic Exodus: Gods and Kings was accused of whitewashing following the decision to cast famous white actors such as Christian Bale and Joel Edgerton in the lead roles, despite depicting events taking place in the Middle East and North Africa.
Islamist networks are quietly establishing a presence throughout the province of Quebec in the cities of Montreal, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivieres.
This astounding and disturbing story broke earlier this week on the front page of Montreal’s Le Journal de Montréal, followed by four pages of highly detailed information provided by two investigative journalists. So far, the English mainstream leftist media has barely batted an eyelash at this breaking news.
According to this report prepared by Félix Séguin and Hugo Joncas of TVA Group and Le Journal Montréal respectively, sister publications owned by the Sun Media division of Quebecor Media,
“…two Islamist networks suspected of financing terrorist groups became the most important owners of buildings housing mosques and Muslim schools in Quebec, discovered by our investigative team. The Muslim Association of Canada (MAC) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA-Canada) own properties that house seven places of worship and four private schools in Montreal, Sherbrooke and Trois-Rivieres.”
ISNA is a direct offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, the nucleus of Islamic terrorist movements that preach misogynistic, homophobic and anti-Semitic ideologies, and that call for a global Islamic empire or caliphate (already established by ISIS) ruled by Islamic or sharia law. MAC, at one point, publicized its ties to the Muslim Brotherhood on its official website, but has since scrubbed it to reflect otherwise.
These Islamist organizations adhere to the 50-point Manifesto written by the Muslim Brotherhood’s founder Hassan al-Banna who opposes Western culture based on liberal-democratic values. He advocated for an Islamic culture based on the Koran and other highly venerated Islamic texts that denounce the legitimacy of other religions, that oppose freedom of expression, and that seek the re-establishment of a caliphate and the global imposition of sharia law upon all.
Both MAC and ISNA are support entities that finance Islamist terrorist groups. MAC finances the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas, listed by the Government of Canada as a terrorist organization in 2002, via the Muslim relief fund-collector International Relief Fund for the Afflicted and Needy-Canada (IRFAN-Canada).
PointdeBascule website writes “that in April 2011, IRFAN’s charitable status was revoked by Canada Revenue Agency after it concluded that, for the 2005-2009 period alone, IRFAN transferred $14.6 million to Hamas. In 2014, the Government of Canada listed IRFAN as a terrorist organization.”
“As for ISNA,” writes Hugo Joncas, “its charitable status has been withdrawn by Revenue Canada in 2013. The tax department accuses ISNA of having sent $280,000 to Jamaat-e-Islami. The military branch of this Pakistani organization, Hizbul Mujahideen, is recognized as a terrorist organization by the European Union. It advocates the installation of an Islamic State in Indian Kashmir.”
In much the same way, ISNA-Canada’s American parent organization, ISNA, was found guilty in 2008 of transferring millions of dollars in funding to Hamas and other jihadi organizations to kill Israeli civilians through the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development in Texas, the U.S.’s largest Islamic charity at the time.
“According to Revenue Canada,” Joncas continues, “MAC owns property worth a total value of $31 million in the country. Our investigation team found $14.5 million of it in Quebec. As for ISNA, it entrusts its buildings to a subsidiary company, the Canadian Islamic Trust Foundation (CITF). This organization has a large number of property assets worth $10 million throughout the country, of which $3.3 million is in the province.”
ISNA’s CITF owns the building in which the Muslim Centre of Quebec, located in Montreal’s West End, resides. In the mosque, the investigative team found radical Islamic propaganda that defends “sharia law, Palestinian terrorism and suicide attacks.” This information is accessible to the students whose elementary school, the Ecole Musulmane de Montreal — subsidized by the government — is connected to the mosque by a side entrance.
One of the texts found was a 100-page booklet, entitled Controversial Questions about Islam And Comments, which justifies and encourages all sharia practices, such as cutting the hand of thieves “from the wrist joint”, flogging for “illegal sexual intercourse”, stoning adulterers, wearing the hijab, and polygamy.
Killing apostates is also acceptable, and according to the booklet, “is in a way similar to a person who agrees to become a citizen of a country, which implements capital punishment for certain crimes.” Concepts such as freedom and human rights depicted in the above-mentioned book, are interpreted differently than they are in the West.
At the Islamic Cultural Association of Estrie in Sherbrooke, housed in a building also owned by ISNA’s CITF, another radical book entitled “Quelques Enseignements indispensables à tout musulman” (Some Essential Lessons for Every Muslim) was found in the mosque by the investigative team. This book asserts that a wife must obey her husband, that homosexuality is a horrible sin, and that unbelievers are destined for hell.
These seven mosques and four Muslim private schools — and possibly many others — support, promote and perpetuate a radical Islamist ideology in Quebec that goes against what Canadian and Western values stand for.
At a time when radicalized Muslims are returning home from the Islamic State battlefields in Iraq and Syria with military training, killing Westerners in the homeland, why does the mainstream leftist media help subjugate Western civilization to sharia law by continuing to obsess over the right to print cartoons?
Instead of assaulting the right to freedom of expression, one of the fundamental rights of a truly free and democratic society, the mainstream media must start exposing the truth about radical Islamist organizations in the homeland and stand up for Western values.
The New York senator explained why she invited Columbia student Emma Sulkowicz — who carries a mattress around campus because she claims she was raped — to the State of the Union Address. She said she did it to show solidarity with a student who “carries her mattress everywhere she goes to symbolize the burden she carries every single day as long as her rapist is still on campus.”
Read that again: “her rapist.”
There’s just one problem with the senator’s accusation: the accused student has never been charged with rape and was cleared of rape by his university’s internal grievance process, even with its absurd “preponderance of the evidence” standard.
Gillibrand should have explained all this in her piece, and at the very least, she should have put the word “alleged” before the word “rapist.” But Gillibrand didn’t think any of that was necessary — she decided to believe the performance artist who claims she was raped, fairness and due process be damned.
The accused student’s name in this case is publicly known — his school newspaper outed him — so we are left with this: a United States senator has declared that a very specific individual is guilty of rape without bothering with that due process or fairness silliness.
While it would be perfectly understandable for Sulkowicz’s mother, friends, and roommate to speak out on her behalf, Senator Gillibrand is supposed to represent all the people of her state, including college men who are accused of rape. Has Gillibrand met the accused student? Has she heard his side of the story?
Gillibrand’s comment is especially jarring given that, among people who write about these issues, it is no longer socially acceptable outside radical feminist circles to assume college men are guilty of rape based on an accusation. Even liberal thinkers are finally publicly denouncing the sad trend of the past two decades to assume male guilt in such circumstances.
The senator’s declaration — in all its Star Chamber ramifications — might be libelous, and it should be condemned by all persons of good will. In addition, the internet outlet that published this piece should apologize and retract it.
Prof. KC Johnson, who helped bring justice to wrongly accused Duke lacrosse players, wrote: “. . . the idea that someone making laws for all of us could actually believe that a person can be guilty solely on the basis of an accusation is a chilling thought.”
Gillibrand needs to resign immediately. She’s not fit to serve in the United States Senate.
